Okey okey, a little reminder that this is following the movie mostly, but will have outtakes such as moments and dialogue which could be taken from different characters.
If that makes sense :,)

Let's get into it!

The mysterious woman stood in the train, beautiful as ever. A gentleman, further away, watched her stand and decided that he no longer needed his seat.
Such a predictable male.. shame for today..
She took it though, not going to lie, so would I. Then we were off. Somehow, we both got off at the same stop, but parted ways after a staircase.
That woman, I later learned, was Kate Croy, a daughter to a unreasonable man, though at this time.. most of them are.
It was in London, 1910, that I finally got to lay my eyes on her again.. her beautiful blue dress contrasting well with her porcelain skin. Though something was off, a rather sad presence radiating from her..
We had met briefly once, while her mother was still alive.. I decide to make my move now.
"How are you settling into your new life?"
She smiled at my appearance, my pulse quickening.
"I'm very comfortable."
It was a faked answer I could tell, but I didn't push the matter. Guessing it would only pain her more to talk about whatever it was that was bothering her.
"You look pretty occupied."
I signal my glass to the big room filled with people, all chatting away and sipping their champagne.
"I'm not used to all this.."
It was more of a chit-chat that I would've liked, but she seemed tense.
"Well, your aunt is something of an expert on these occasions. She has a wonderful eye for who fits best with who. And she suggested that I'd be your guide.."
She smiled as I began looking over the room.
"Over there in that corner we have Lady Berring and her daughter. Now, what Lady Berring has to do is somehow move her daughter from that side of the gathering.. to the other without falling in the fountain."
We took a pause as the scene played out, the mother, Mrs Berring, taking her daughter safely through the room.
"You see the man in the red waistcoat... he's the target..."
She looked at me confused, her eyes narrowed and eyebrows furrowed.
"Why?"
I chuckled as I began explaining.
"Because of his father's bank account, Berrings will have to pay for their castle somehow, as do we all.."
She eyed me up and down, a sort of shiver being sent wherever her vision was cast.
"You have a castle too, Lady Y/l/n?"
There was a tinge of a smirk on her lips, for I knew she was teasing me about my statement.
"Well, it has seen better days.. I spend more time in my London home.."
It in-fact was not my castle, for my father chose for my brother to inherit it, shocker, but I still spent time there.
