Chapter 19: Where will he sleep?
I woke up at 2:30 A.M. I didn't know but I think there's a force that told me to wake up and get my phone. I got my phone from my bedside table and turned it on. I waited for many minutes and then received like 40 text messages. I opened it and started reading. It came from Tony. I looked at the date. They were sent a week ago, the day when my cellphone got confiscated.
Tony: Ash, are you still there?
Tony: Sorry to interrupt your class.
Tony: Hey? I said I am sorry; please do not be mad at me.
Tony: Miss beautiful? Are you still there?
Tony: I missed you.
Tony: Hey??
Tony: Hello?
There were also messages which he had sent the day after my phone got confiscated.
Tony: Hello. Good morning.
Tony: How was your day?
Tony: Could I ask you something?
Tony: Hello??
Tony: Please reply.
Tony: I missed you.
Tony: What happened? I am freaking out right now.
Tony: Please text even just today.
Tony: Are you mad at me?
Tony: Can I call you?
The rest of the messages are of the same thought asking where I am and why I am not texting him. Maybe it's better this way, it's better if he didn't know my whereabouts and maybe it's for my own good. Just as I wanted to sleep again, my cellphone beeped. I wonder who would text me in this hour.
It was from Tony. I immediately opened it.
Tony: Hi. I missed you.
I can't help not replying to his message. So, I replied.
Me: hello.
After a while, I was engrossed to his text again, just like the old times
Tony: I am so happy. What happened? Are you okay?
Me: Yeah.
Tony: I thought that you were mad at me.
Me: Why?
Tony: Because you didn't text me.
Me: I just got my phone today.
Tony: Ash. I need to tell you something.
Me: What is it?
I thought maybe he would tell me that he's going to break up with me and maybe I was just a nightmare that he wanted to forget and then pretend that I didn't even meet him.
Tony: But you have to promise me something.
Me: Tell me first.
Tony: You have to promise me that you won't get mad at me.
