Chapter 28: The verdict and the punishment

"The three of you, right now." Dad said as he signaled the three of us to get inside our house. I can see that he was at the verge of almost shouting us but still, he managed to not show it.

I am doomed. Earth, please swallow me now.

The three of us follows my dad in our living room. I am so cold it felt like having a seizure.

"The two of you, sit here. Ash, go to your room and change your clothes!" my dad said and I immediately went to my room, took a shower. I don't like to go and face the consequences of my actions.

When I arrived in the living room, Tony and Rain already changed into different shirts. I recognized those were my dad's. Their faces were all clean but I can see a bruise in Rain's left cheek while Tony's bruise was in the chin. I pitied them. This is all because of me. OMG!

I took a deep breath before I settled myself in one of the sofas. I seated beside my father and opposite to me was Tony and Rain. I could not even dare to look at them or to my father. I just kept my head down.

"I want to know how the two of you ended up fighting in front of my house?" My dad asked while looking at the two of the. It's not the deadly stare that my father would actually do when I am being stubborn. It was just a normal stare.

Where's mom?

"I was just making sure that Ash will go home safely. He started it. Sir." Rain said while glancing at Tony.

"I wouldn't have done that if you are not touching my girlfriend." Tony retorted back. He is such a hot tempered guy.

"I remembered you. I talk to you before young man." My dad said to Tony. Yeah right. When we have our first meeting and they accidentally see me together with Tony.

"Yes sir. That was me." Tony said.

"Did you forget what I told you?" dad said and I can hear danger in his voice, it was like he is planning to kill Tony.

"No sir. I will never forget it."

"Then why are you here then?" Uh oh. Dad is mad. What did he say to Tony? stay away from me? This sounds like a scene from a movies.

"I love your daughter." he said bravely. Did he know what he was talking about? Was he serious?

"Do you understand what you are saying? You don't know what you're talking about." Dad said with emphasis on the word 'know'.

"No sir. I know what I'm talking about and I can prove it to you." Tony said.

"How can you prove it?" my dad asked as if he was challenging Tony in a match. This is super awkward. I have never even thought in my wildest dream that I will be in this situation. I pinched myself just to see if this was just a dream.

"I will marry her!" whaaaaaaaaaat????

My face turns red as a tomato.

Tony I just hate you right now. You are crazy!

My dad was speechless for how many seconds until...

"I will not allow it." Dad firmly said. It's final.

If I could just talk to Tony right now, I will tell him to stop saying nonsense things. He is absolutely out of his mind and maybe that's the reason why my parents wanted me to stay away from him. Drama much.

"But sir, we love each other..."

"Enough!! I don't want to hear anything about this. This is nonsense! This will be the last offense. I will just let it go this time, but once I caught the two of you still having relationship, I will make sure to do the right thing."

There was an awkward silence. We just stared at each other as dad was shaking his head for the damage that I have done. I will really have a punishment for this.

"The two of you should go home now! Your parents might be looking for you. " dad said breaking the silence.

Tony stood up first and then look at me. His face is saying that he can't do anything about this relationship. He went away without even bothering to say goodbye to any of us, but I think if O were him, I would also do the same thing. Rain stood up next and shook hands with my dad and said "Really sorry sir for the disturbance, would not happen again." and then said goodbye to me and then went away. So, it was just me and my dad.

"Ash, what do you think you're doing?" my dad said looking at me. Sorry dad, I am a stubborn daughter.

"Didn't your mom said that you have to settle this before anything?" he added while I just sat there, heads down still.

"At first we thought we raised someone responsible but you just proved to us that you cannot be trusted."

Yes dad. I am not someone that you can be proud off. Shame on me. Tears are starting to fall now.

I wanted to say sorry but no words came out from my mouth.

"You will be going to boarding school for the rest of the school year. Instead of quitting. That's final and we talk about it with your mom."

Goodbye Tony, Ariana, Rain.. Goodbye school...

"But dad...."

"We only want what's best for you. We don't want you to have a boyfriend and we made it clear to you since the very beginning. So, this is the result of your misbehavior."

"and one more thing, please surrender your phone." Dad added.

No dad! No!!

I was hesitant but there is nothing that I can do but to surrender it.

"You can go to your room now for tomorrow, we will be traveling to your new school." dad said and then went away to his room.

I went to my room and lay on my bed. I hate myself for letting these things to happen. I hate Tony and Rain and Albert for everything today. I hate my life.

I cried.. and cried.... Until I fell asleep.

Author's Note: Yup, this time, the boarding school is real. Sorry for the delayed upload. My laptop is back so.. I think I will really really finish this story. haha.
