aka me Ranting about how Awesome Clay is.
Clay is the most unproblematic DOD, as well as the glue that holds the group together. As Sunny observed, without Clay, Tsunami and Glory would have torn each other apart. Sunny would also not have anyone to speak up for her, and would become the Fatespeaker of the group.
Clay is so sweet and nice to everyone, even Peril when no one else would be. Although he is oblivious romantically, he is so sincere about his affections.
He is also the only dragon that all of the DOD has basically no problems with. Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, and Sunny are often viewed as sometimes annoying to one or more members of the DOD, but Clay is always there for support.
He's amazing, and I wish I could read more about his life teaching at JMA.
