I've been working on my visualization and I decided on what my wolf form will look like! Well, I didn't really "decide" much since a lot of it is based on my own looks for simplicity, but I thought I'd share.
I heard it's easier to shift if your wolf has similar genetics to you, so the coat is based off my own hair color and the eyes will be brown with a hint of green & yellow like mine. The coat was actually kind of difficult to visualize at first though, since my hair changed a lot as I grew up. I was born ginger, which then changed to dirty blond, then dark reddish brown, then brown, then almost black, and finally back to brown. I eventually settled for a mix of brown & black since that's what my hair has been closest to in recent years.
Anyway, I made a little board with the closest pictures I could find to the coat I want! From what it seems, I'm going to look the most similar to an Iberian wolf, although I might actually be a bit smaller since adult male Iberian wolves can get up to 120lbs & I still have a hard time staying above 90 ^^" (also because, y'know, there's a difference between wolves that were born wolves & wolf shifters, which I think might have their own set of breeds? I can't tell if the info I have on that is true or not yet though) :/

I really would've liked to have white fur, since I've always thought tundra wolves and arctic wolves were extremely beautiful, but I don't know if I'd be able to pull off shifting a different color than what my genes allow. Also, all the wolves where I live were killed off a long time ago so people could protect their livestock. (Which was a stupid idea, btw, because now we have an extreme deer problem.) A white coat would make me an easy target, and might make people suspicious since I definitely don't live anywhere cold enough for it.
Still, I can dream... T_T
I feel a bigger connection to wolves with darker coats anyway. I always thought my theriotype looked close to the picture in the center of the board, and it was actually the reference picture I used when I started going by River on YouTube when I was embarrassingly young-
I can't wait to look like that, hopefully as soon as possible!
