I inhaled deeply before turning around, seeing my two coworkers look at me with big eyes.
"What?" I asked confused.
"You could have fucking told us that he is a fucking god!" Jake said, both of his hands gripping the counter before he let out an moan.
"I swear if you don't marry that man one day I will kill you and do it myself." Hailey said and I rolled my eyes at that.
"Watch your mouth, both of you." I warned, walking behind the counter again as I saw two customers walking in.
The rest of the morning was filled with us serving the people that came into the shop, till somewhat around 1pm a woman hurriedly entered the shop.
"Victoria? I'm searching for a woman named Victoria?" She looked around till I slowly raised my hand, being kinda confused about her sudden entrance.
"I am Victoria." I said, as her eyes met me she quickly rushed over to me.
"My boss told me to bring you this." She said while handing me an envelope. I first stared at the envelope confused before looking at her confused.
"And who is your boss?"
"Ryder Ramirez." She said, and I chuckled softly while nodding. I opened the envelope, seeing a small note there and 100$. I opened the note, reading it.
Hello cariño,
I'm sorry, I was in such a hurry this morning that I forgot to pay for the coffee. Take this as an apology.
Also, you looked really beautiful this morning, can't stop thinking about you.I couldn't stop the big smile from forming on my face as I turned to her.
"Thank you for bringing me this." She nodded before waving and leaving the store. I put the note in my pocket, just like the 100$. I then grabbed my phone, texting him.
Victoria: you're an idiot Ryder Ramirez.
Your Husband: and you're a beautiful woman, Victoria Smith.
I bit my lower lip, smiling way too much because of that simple compliment.
"Ohhh Victoria is texting with her husband." Hailey then said, and she and Jake started laughing at that. I just scoffed before turning back to my phone.
Victoria: you do know that 100$ is was too much for an coffee?
Your husband: well I also gave you a tip because of your wonderful service.
I chuckled softly.
Victoria: you're such an idiot.
I put my phone away again, serving the customers again with Hailey and Jake. The rest of the day, I couldn't get that idiot out of my mind.
Not that I mind, of course.
After work:
I'm on my way home right now. I had my earphones in my ears as I walked home. I hummed as I listened to 'Bad drugs - King Kavalier, ChrisLee'. When I finally arrived at home, I walked into the elevator and drove up, and then I already saw a man standing in front of my door.
I pulled the earphones out, walking up to him.
"I'm sorry for making you wait, I was at work." He just smiled kindly at me.
"Don't worry, I was here a bit too early." I smiled at him before unlocking the door so he could change the locks.
I bought him a bottle of cold water, placing it on the ground next to him while he did his work.
"Any reason why you're letting it get changed?" He asked, obviously trying to have smalltalk so there wouldn't be an awkward silence.
"Oh I just don't want my ex to be able to enter my apartment." I said and he hummed.
"He cheated?" He asked.
"Yep." He sighed.
"I hope you atleast slapped him." He said.
"I did not, but I did threaten him that I would stab him if he ever comes here again."
"Good enough." He made the finishing touches before giving me my new keys.
"Here you go." He gave me a nice smile as I smiled back. I paid him before waving goodbye, closing the door behind him and locking it.
I really regret not slapping daniel now.
I sighed before making my way into the kitchen, deciding to make myself something to eat. In the end I decided to do creamy chicken pasta.
While cooking, I danced around the kitchen and singed loudly, shaking my ass while stirring the sauce.
Cooking was one of the things I really enjoyed doing, and I don't even know why. For me, the food tastes so much better when I know I put effort into it, that's why I loved cooking.
And I guess I am pretty good at it, since everyone who has tasted my cooking till now said that it's good.
Just as a new song started and I was getting into it, suddenly my phone rang and the music stopped, making me groan in annoyance.
I took the call without looking who it was, even though I already had an guess on who it was.
"Yes?"
"Hello Cariño, I just wanted to ask when you want us to be there tomorrow." I hummed, thinking for a moment.
"When are you even available? You own a company, I bet your schedule is bu-"
"You come first, so when do you want me to be there?" I blushed hard, stirring the sauce as I thought for a moment.
"At around 2pm? Maybe a bit earlier? But really, it depends on you. I will stay home the whole day tomorrow so you can come whenever you want." I said and heard a deep hum coming from him.
"We will be there around 1pm, if something changes I will text you though."
"Okay." I smiled, turning the stove off as the sauce was finished.
"And I sadly need to go now, I won't be available for some time, so don't wonder if I don't call or anything cariño." He said and I nodded, even though he couldn't see me. That was a dumb habit of mine.
"That's okay, I will see you tomorrow."
"Yes you will, see you cariño."
"See you Ryder." I ended the call and smiled while putting the already finished noodles into the pan with the sauce, mixing it together before putting a portion of the noodles onto a plate for myself.
I could already feel how hungry I was, and seeing the delicious food just made me more hungry. I grabbed a fork and my phone before walking over into the living room. I watched tv while eating the noodles, when suddenly I got a notification on my phone.
What the-?
