Chapter 45.

In the evening, after me and Adriana finished the food, she left and I stayed with Alejandro.

"I really love your mom." I stated as I finished up the table for me and Ryder, wanting to kinda celebrate into his birthday.

"She really loves you too, and I am glad to see that." Alejandro said and his eyes curiously went over the table. When he saw that I was only preparing for two people, a look of confusion formed on his face.

"What about me?" He asked and I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"This is supposed to be a romantic dinner for me and my boyfriend, you really wanna be here with us? You do know what we will do af-"

"Yeah yeah, shut your mouth." He just rolled his eyes at me while I started to laugh softly at his reaction. It was hilarious, every fucking time.

"I love teasing you, Alejandro. You react like a child, you really need to get laid." I said and he gave me and offended look, making me laugh.

"You don't even have a right to talk, you got pregnant." He said and now I was the one to look at him offended, him giving me the 'oops I shouldn't have said that look'.

"You little bitch." I just said while walking over to him, him taking steps back as he defensively raised his hands into the air.

"Yo that was just a joke, relax." He said and the look in his eyes told me that he was really sorry, and scared of what I would do to him. I stopped right in front of him, looking up at him with my hand raised up into his face, my finger pointed at him.

"You better shut your mouth, I don't regret getting pregnant at all even if it is indeed a bit soon for that." I said and he looked at me while nodding.

In the next moment his arms wrapped around me and he hid his face in the crook of my neck, a fake sob leaving his mouth as he pretended to cry. I really had to give my everything to not start laughing right in that moment.

"I am so sorry Vic! You still love me, right? After all I am your brother in law, you need to love me! And I will be the best uncle for our little muñeca. I promise!" He said while still fake crying, and I chuckled softly while patting his back softly.

"You dumb idiot. I know, of course I do. Now get yourself together and get out of the house, I need to get ready for my boyfriend." I said and in the next moment Alejandro parted from me, grinning down at me.

"I knew you loved me." He said before leaning down, pressing a soft kiss onto my cheek. "I love you, be safe and use protection." I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh right, it's too late for that."

And when he said that, my mouth hung open as I stared at him in disbelief, but he just started to laugh while quickly running away.

"Bye sis!" And in the next moment I heard how the front door closed. My hand landed on my forehead.

This guy, I will kill him one day. I definitely will.

I sighed before a small laugh escaped my mouth, and then I made my way upstairs into our bedroom. I put on a beautiful dress I had once bought, and I knew Ryder liked it.

I quickly put it on before checking up on my makeup and hair. Afterwards I made my way downstairs, and just as I walked down the stairs, I could hear the front door open.

I made it down the stairs, leaning against the wall as I watched how Ryder took off his shoes while a huff left his mouth.

I just watched him, not saying a word. When his head turned to me, he stopped dead in his tracks, just watching me. A smile formed on his face as he slowly started to walk over to me.
