After lunch neither Taehyung nor Jungkook stepped out of their respective rooms.There was tension between them during lunch and of course their daughter didn't have a clue as to what was going on between them.As she was talking to her parents all they could do was hum and nod.

Jungkook only came out of his room to make dinner.At least his husband hadn't asked him about Jennie.He didn't know how he would have reacted if Taehyung had asked him about her whereabouts.Probably he would get upset thinking that the alpha still wanted her back.

Taehyung appeared in the kitchen and Jungkook was frozen for a while.Welp he was cornered.He didn't want to be around his husband but there was no way to run.He only swallowed and gave back his attention to the onions he was chopping.

"Do you need anything?"he asked mildly

"Do you hate me Jungkook?I can totally understand if you do because..."Taehyung sounded frustrated.Jungkook had never seen him in that state.Ever.

"What ?Why would I hate you"the younger asked quietly

"For everything I put you through unknowningly?"

"Non of it was your fault.I just fell in love with the wrong person.How can that be your fault.We can't change the past  no matter how much we whine about it.But we can only move on and make peace with it"

"Then do you still want to divorce me"the alpha's voice was unsteady.

Jungkook was caught offgaurd by the question.No matter how he looked at it,it was too soon for them to have that conversation.

"Not you but the old Taehyung.If I divorce you before you get your memory back it would be unfair."

"What about Nayeon?Divorce will always affect the children.I have been through it,Jungkook.I witnessed it firsthand.I don't want our daughter to go through it when it can be avoided"Taehyung said with great feeling.

"Then should I stay with you for her and be unhappy all my all my life?Will that be fair?Yes I'm a mother and I should put my child's happiness first but don't I deserve to be happy too?"Jungkook was overwhelmed by he didn't want to fall weak.

"I didn't say that but you can at least make a compromise for her"Taehyung tried to reason.

"Honestly.Taehyung I don't know if I still want the divorce or not.Can we just drop this for now.I don't want to talk about it.Please"he whispered as he tried to keep his tears at bay.How dare he ask him not to go for the divorce.

Jungkook only wanted Taehyung to give him one good reason not to divorce him.A reason that wasn't Nayeon.He has never been happy with the alpha.

Taehyung walked into his daughter's room and found her scrubbing something on her note book.Her lips were puckered into a small pout in concentration.

"What are you drawing princess?"he asked as he caressed her hair.

"I'm not drawing"she covered her work so her father won't tease her for it.

"Can I see"

"No you will make funny of Yeonie."

"I won't do that.I promise,I'm your daddy aren't I?"

"Pinky swear"

Nayeon uncovered her work and it turned out that she was actually struggling to write her name with Hangul characters.She had seen her name from somewhere and now she was trying to write it herself.

"My princess is so intelligent"Taehyung smiled and kissed her cheek.

"Did I do well daddy?"she asked

"Of course.Excellent"
