Jungkook had been staring into empty space for a while.Yeri broke him out of his trance when she walked into the room.

"Is your husband getting any better?"she asked casually

Jungkook started playing with his ear"I really don't know.I haven't been to the hospital since Saturday.I used to go there everyday but my mother in law stopped me .She told me it wasn't healthy.If there is anything out of the ordinary my brother in law will call me"

"I bet it must have been difficult going through pregnancy and birth without your husband"

"Well .It was hard but I wasn't alone and I'm grateful for that"Jungkook said

"I see"

"Oh let me call mom and ask her how her hormonal granddaughter is doing.I swear that kid will be the death of me.She is just one of a kind"

"Oh come on.She is a loveable little creature.I have never seen any child who is as adorable as she is"Yeri said

"Loveable to people who isn't her mother.She acts as if she wasn't in my tummy for whole nine months.I bet she believes she was knocked right out of heaven.Like some sort of fallen angel"he chuckled

"She is such a princess and an angel too.A total darling"

"You flutter her too much"Jungkook smiled

"You know I'm right.She is the best thing that could have ever happened to you.Children are a blessing and they should be treasured no matter how they are"

"Really.I see you have already gotten used to being a new parent"Jungkook remarked

"Well I have"

Jungkook called his mother up and she picked up instantly.He had opted for a video call instead.

"Mom"

"Miss me already?"

"Why would I miss my competition?If for anything I should be hating you but it can't be helped since my daughter loves you more than me"

"Your daughter is sleeping sounding besides your competition.You should be jealous"

"Is she no longer upset.Is my baby okay mom?"

"She didn't say anything after you left.She asked for banana milk and went to bed"

"Maybe she will feel better when you take her out for lunch later.We should take her wherever she wants.Maybe her mood will change"

"You better be there Jungkook"

"I will"

When Jungkook got off the call he flipped over the photo frame that had been laying on his desk facing down for years.One look at it made his gut wrench.It was his wedding photo and probably the only photo he had of his husband.Besides it was a photo frame of his daughter when she was just a baby.

Before he could put it back down his cell rang and it was his brother in law calling.

The two got super close even before Jungkook officially married into the Kim family.Jungkook was closer to his brother in law than he was to his husband.In fact he was close to everyone in the Kim family except for his husband.They never had  a relationship.He regretted that they had never been friends.

"Hello hyung"

"Kookie you have to come to the hospital right now if you can"

"Hyung tell me what's wrong"

"I can't tell you over the phone.Just get here.It's urgent"

"You are scaring me.Just tell me that my daughter's father is okay"
