Mark's POV:

When Hyein suggested that, I couldn’t help but agree. After all, if I had something to blackmail Yeonjun with, I could have unlimited fun teasing him. No offense, though—I wouldn’t betray him since he’s my friend. But come on, some harmless teasing never hurt anyone.

So, as Hyein said, I blocked Ha Yoon and Sunghoon from chasing her, while Doyoung stood guard in front of Hyein like some kind of budget bodyguard.

Hyein's POV:

"YAAH! Why would you help her? I’m your friend, not her!" Yeonjun yelled, throwing his hands in the air like a drama queen.

"Sorry, man! Her offer was too tempting to refuse," Mark said with a smirk. Yeonjun looked at him like he couldn’t believe his ears.

"Are you serious?"

Mark turned to Ha Yoon and Sunghoon. "So, what's the problem? Let’s settle this."

"What are you? Her boyfriend or something? Let go of me!" Ha Yoon snapped.

"Hyein, care to explain?" Mark asked, looking amused.

I rolled my eyes. "Ugh, fine. Sunghoon, I saved you from an awkward situation. Why are you chasing me? And Yoon, sweetie, he’s our friend too. Why are you making a big deal about what I said? Can’t you just let it slide?"

Mark raised a brow. "What exactly happened?"

I sighed dramatically. "Okay, so we were heading to the cafeteria, and this random girl asked Sunghoon out. He panicked and looked at me for help, so I told her he and Yoon were dating to save him. Happy now?"

Mark groaned. "This is such a silly problem! Why are you two chasing her like she stole your lunch? She saved you, right? Isn’t that what friends do?" He winked at me.

"Exactly!" I grinned.

"Yeah, okay. Forgive me," Sunghoon muttered, rubbing the back of his neck. "I know you can’t live without me, but I’ll let this slide."

"Only because I’m cute, right?" I teased.

"Obviously," he said with a smirk.

I turned to Yoon. "Are you still mad?"

"I am," she said, crossing her arms.

"Okay, what if I treat you to your favorite restaurant after school? I know you can’t say no to food," I said with a wink.

Her face lit up. "Deal! But first, lunch!"

Doyoung cleared his throat. "Ahem, you’re forgetting something important."

"Relax, I never break my promises," I said quickly.

He stepped in front of me, holding out his hand. "Your phone, please."

Confused, I handed it over. He typed something in, then handed it back with a grin.

"‘The Cool Doyoung’? Really?" I read aloud.

"Because I’m the coolest," he said, striking a dramatic pose.

"O-okay," I muttered, stifling a laugh.

"You’re all ignoring me!" Yeonjun whined, pouting. He’s actually cute when he’s mad, I thought.

"Who even needs you?" I muttered, just loud enough for him to hear.

"I heard that!"

Mark ignored us. "What about tomorrow? Let’s hang out and do what you promised. And don’t forget Yeonjun’s photos!"

"Sounds like a plan," I said, grinning.

"Agreed," Doyoung added.

"Are you coming?" Mark asked Sunghoon and Yoon.

"I can’t. I have practice," Sunghoon replied.

"I’m in!" Yoon said, bouncing with excitement.

Doyoung smirked at Yeonjun. "You’re not coming, right?"

"Why would I?" Yeonjun snapped, rolling his eyes.

"Then we’ll get going first," Sunghoon said, dragging Yoon and me along.

Yeonjun's POV:

"Seriously, guys?! Why would you help her? And you, Mark Lee, you were so sweet to her! Am I losing my friends? Oh my god!" I wailed, fake crying.

Mark burst out laughing. "Her offers were hard to resist, bro. I need those photos of you."

"Ugh, I’ll teach that brat a lesson. Just wait, Yang Hyein," I grumbled.

Doyoung raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure you’re not jealous?"

"You little—" I started, but he cut me off with a laugh.

"Whatever. You two go ahead. I need to dry off, thanks to Hyein’s devilish friend," I said, annoyed.

Doyoung smirked. "Yeah, you should. Otherwise, you’ll catch a cold, and Hyein won’t be there to take care of you since we’re hanging out with her tomorrow."

"You really want to get punched, don’t you? And for the last time, she’s just my annoying enemy. Nothing more!" I huffed, walking away from their teasing grins.
