Yeonjun's POV
I stormed into the restroom, dripping wet. My jaw clenched as I grabbed some tissues to wipe myself off.
"That annoying brat! How could she pour water on me?" I muttered, aggressively rubbing my face.
As I dried my hair, my mind wandered back to the cafeteria.
Wait-Mark didn't even ask for Hyein's number. Does he already have it? Is she really going out with them tomorrow?
I frowned at my reflection.
Why am I even thinking about this? I don't care. I don't like her. Never.
Shoving away the ridiculous thoughts, I walked out of the restroom and headed straight for the cafeteria.

Sunghoon's POV
The moment we stepped into the cafeteria, I spotted my cousins waving at us from a table. They weren't exactly my best friends, but they were family.
"Looks like they saved us seats," I said, nodding toward them.
We grabbed our food and walked over.

Hyein's POV
Jay raised an eyebrow as we approached the table. "What took you guys so long?"
"Yeah, it's your first time getting late," Jake added, giving me a knowing look.
I sighed. "Why don't you ask your dear cousin and this guy?" I shot a glare at Sunghoon as I sat beside Jay.
Jay smirked. "Let me guess-fangirl drama?"
I gave him a slow clap. "Wow, genius."
He chuckled. "And you... let me guess, you made things worse?"
Before I could respond, Yoon shook her head. "She told everyone that Sunghoon and I are dating."
Jake choked on his Coke. I slid some napkins toward him, patting his back. "You good?"
Jay burst out laughing. "Of course she did! That sounds exactly like something Hyein would do."
I grinned. "Guilty as charged."
As I recounted the whole incident, Jay and Jake laughed so hard they were clutching their stomachs.

Hyein and Jay had known each other since childhood because their parents were business partners and close friends. She had gone to study in the States with him when she was ten. But Sunghoon and Ha Yoon had been her best friends since they were five.
Jake, Jay, Sunghoon, Hyein, and Ha Yoon were all popular students. And so was Yeonjun's gang.
Some students hated that Hyein and Yoon were close with the boys. Some adored them. Others? They shipped Hyein and Yeonjun.
Much to her annoyance.

Hyein's POV - Later That Night
After saying goodbye to my friends, I arrived home.
"Welcome home, sweetheart," my mom greeted me, pressing a kiss to my forehead.
After dinner, I changed into pajamas, flopped onto my bed, and started scrolling through social media.
My phone buzzed. A message from Mark.
Mark: Did you have trouble after the incident? 😂
Me: Thanks to you and Doyoung, or I'd be dead meat by now. You don't know Yoon, she's crazy 🤣😧
Mark: When should we meet tomorrow? Why don't you send me a photo of Yeonjun first?
I rolled my eyes. Typical Mark.
Me: 9 AM at XXX Mall?
Mark: Ooh, sounds good. See you there.
Me: I'll tell Doyoung and Yoon first. Then I'll send the photos 😉
Mark: I'll be waiting 😆😆
I chuckled at his enthusiasm. "This guy is fun... but sometimes, he's terrifying," I muttered, shaking my head.
Time to text Doyoung.

Me: Doyoung-ah, let's meet at XXX Mall at 9 tomorrow. Cool?
Doyoung: Hey Hyein, all good. I was just deciding what to wear tomorrow 😂😜
Me: Ooh 😮. Mark will meet us there too. About the outfit... 🤔 Why don't you dress cool? Since, you know, you're already a cool person?
Doyoung: You have a point. Thanks for the advice.
Me: See you tomorrow then. Good night.
Doyoung: You too. Sleep well.
I sighed in relief. One down, one to go.

Ha Yoon's Chat:
Me: Tomorrow at XXX Mall. Don't forget, okay?
Yoon: Got it. What should I wear?
Me: Your choice. Aren't you curious about the time?
Yoon: Oops, I forgot.
I shook my head. How will you survive without me? Anyway, 9 AM. See you tomorrow.
Yoon: See you.
Phew. Now back to Mark.

I put my phone down, stretching with a yawn. Tomorrow is going to be... interesting.
