Ha Yoon's POV

"Ha Yoon, Mark is here to pick you up!" my mom called from downstairs.

What is he doing here? Weren't we supposed to meet at the mall?

I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs, finding Mark waiting.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Let's go. I'm picking you up. Doyoung is with Hyein, so hurry up," he said.

Mark and I never get along-just like Yeonjun and Hyein. But our parents are friends and business partners, so we've known each other forever. He always makes fun of me. Did he suddenly change? Let's see.

"What are you staring at? Are you coming or not?" he asked impatiently.

"Do you have a fever? Did the pigs fly?" I teased.

"Come on while I'm being nice, or take the bus," he shot back.

"Alright, alright, I'm coming," I said, waving to my mom as I followed him.

He tossed me a helmet.

"Do I really need this? My hair will get ruined," I groaned.

He gave me an unimpressed look. No arguing with that.

We got on his bike and headed to the mall.

---

At the Mall

Hyein and Doyoung were already there, getting off their bike as we arrived. I hopped off and ran to Hyein.

"Hey! You scared me," she laughed.

"Let's get inside," I said.

Mark and Doyoung walked over after parking.

"We look like co-" mark started.

"Don't say it," we all cut Mark off at the same time.

---

Doyoung's POV

"Think we can make Yeonjun jealous?" Mark smirked.

"You really are something," I chuckled. "What's your plan?"

"Let's make it look like Hyein and I have been hanging out a lot recently," he said.

I thought for a moment. "How about this-we take some photos of you two together, and later, when Yeonjun is around, we casually bring it up in front of him? Act like you two have some inside jokes, maybe even hint that you guys have been texting a lot."

Mark grinned. "I like the way you think."

So, throughout the day, Mark made sure to stand next to Hyein in pictures, laugh a little too much at her jokes, and even got her to try a drink he picked out, making it seem like they shared similar tastes. Hyein, of course, had no idea what was going on.

At one point, a shopkeeper asked if Ha Yoon and I, and Mark and Hyein, were couples because of our matching outfits. That moment was hilarious.

---

Hyein's POV

As we were about to leave, I suddenly remembered the dinner at home and turned to my friends.

"Hey, my parents invited everyone over for dinner. You guys should come! I think your other friend will be there" I said.

Ha Yoon shook her head. "I have piano lessons, so I can’t make it."

Doyoung checked his phone and sighed. "I have somewhere to be too, but since Ha Yoon needs a ride, I’ll drop her off."

I turned to Mark. "What about you?"

Mark shrugged. "I’m free. I’ll come with you."

I nodded. "Alright, let’s go then."

Doyoung and Ha Yoon went in one direction while Mark and I headed toward his bike.

"Guess you’re stuck with me tonight," Mark teased as he handed me a helmet.

I rolled my eyes. "Huh"
