Gulf's POV
I didn't utter a single word. Inside the van, no noise will be heard except for the engine of the car. My good father came back for me and now wants me to go with him. I bet he needed me now because he found a new use for me.
looking down at my lap, where I rested my hands. Looking at the bracelet he gave me, I couldn't feel anything but sorrow. I know Mew will feel betrayed if I ever mention anything about this; it's not like I can contact him right now.
"Why are you feeling down?" The man spoke, whom unfortunately I call Dad. "You should be happy that I wanted you to come back."
I raised my gaze, glaring at him. "Is it? Or is it that you're already old and need someone to be your next heir?"
Dad's facial expression changed from when he was smiling a few minutes earlier, but now his face has turned ice-cold.
"Then I don't have to explain myself," he said in a stern tone. A smirk slowly formed on his face. "It's not like I'm the only one who's hiding a secret from you, my son."
"What do you mean?"
Dad smirked. "You'll know," he said before looking out the window. "I bet he'll be there."
I was confused, but an uneasy feeling started to rise inside me. I tried to shrug off the feeling, but it wouldn't leave. After a while, we arrived at a warehouse. At first, I really thought that he'd be bringing me straight to the airport.
"I'm not going to bring you to the airport," he said while walking, and I followed him from behind. There are also some men trailing us, so I can't escape. "We already have a helicopter waiting for us; we need to get moving."
10:23pm....in Paris.....
"Hey, hey, hey! Nice to finally meet your son!" A man in a formal suit said, greeting us with his arms wide open. I stopped walking as Dad stopped as well. "It's been a long time, boy."
"I really don't even know who you are," I said with a stern tone.
The man smiled widely. "You'll know I'm someone important to you anyway."
I raised my eyebrow at him. I was about to speak, but then Dad spoke up.
"And he's already here. Dang it, I thought we'd be able to leave without distraction," Dad said as he turned around and looked behind him with an evil smirk.
"What?" I asked in full confusion. I slowly turned around as well, and I saw a silhouette of a man standing. It slowly became clear who that man was. "Mew?"
Mew stood there like a psychopath, holding a gun in his left hand and a knife in his right. My breath hitch as my eyes threw up.
"Well, well! I didn't know you'd get my message right away," Dad said, clearly provoking Mew.
"Give My Gulf Back," Mew said in a menacing tone, but his face showed no emotion.
Dad laughed maniacally. "Your Gulf?! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That's a funny joke, boy. As far as I remember, Gulf is my son, meaning he is mine."
I was never yours in the first place.
"Give him back." Mew spoke with fury in his tone as he stepped forward.
"Uh-uh, no, my boy," Dad said as he waved his pointer finger side to side. Dad took out a knife from his pocket and tossed it to the man. "Valerio, you know what to do."
The man, whose name is Valerio, Caught the knife and started to walk towards me. He then wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder before whispering something.
