Note: Humans borrow most of their non-Human(AKA: English) terms and words from Ancient Minotaur. Most cross-cultural phrasing also comes from this pre-Dragon Wars origin. One exception to the rule is "Vae", meaning "Damn" or "Damned" which actually comes from the Emberkin language.
Note #2: Elvin and Lacertian languages are most commonly used in magik spells and casting. Emberkin is the most common and considered the easiest to learn. Silverkin is considered the most formal and precise of the languages to work with. Meanwhile Lacertian, though the hardest to learn and manipulate, is capable of the most powerful spells due to its ancient roots.
