-One of the Elder Races, the Dragons are an extinct race of ancient and immensely powerful creatures. At one point they ruled most of Kearne, and held the Minotaurs and eventually the other Younger Races as conquests. The Younger Races rebelled and, after a hundred years of war, managed to overthrow the Dragons and drive them to extinction.
-Dragons were incredible magik-users, some of the most powerful ever to be seen. It is believed that they are responsible for teaching the other races the use of magik, and even now draconic influences can be found in the other races architecture, governments, and belief systems.
-Dragons, when they died or were killed, would have their corpses curled around themselves and immense amounts of treasure and valuables piled in the middle of their body. The body would then have dirt and rock built up around it to make a large hill or mound. These are called Dragon Burial Troves or just Dragon Troves. Current cultural misconceptions believe Dragons to have been collectors of treasures and their unique method of burial is where the myth of a Dragons Treasure Trove came from. The Minotaurs hold Dragon burial troves as holy ground and protect them with their lives.
