Chapter Fourteen

After I showed Savannah her room, I went down to the basement. I found Gio and Toni beating up the guy from Savannah's house.

"Start *punch* talking *punch* now." Gio said throwing a punch at every word.

The guy just looked at him unfazed, he appears to be loyal to whoever his boss is. I read the information about him that Mani sent and he is going to be a tough one. I stepped in and he looked at me and gave me a bloody grin.

"Well how nice of you to finally join us." he rasped out and he had a thick Italian accent.

"So that means you will finally talk then." I said rolling up the sleeves of my shirt.

"Maybe depends on what you are offering?" he said. This guy is half way to death and he is still being cocky.

"Well what do you want." I asked raising my eyebrow.

"Protection from my boss and $50 million dollars in cash." he said in a serious tone.

"You got it now speak." I yelled getting impatient.

"Well, your little girlfriend is not who you think she is. She is a thief, liar, manipulator, and many other things you do not want to know." he said looking all serious.

"What do you mean by that?" Gio yelled out.

"She is hiding a lot of stuff from you, I would be very careful if I were you." he said, and I pulled out my gun and shot him.

"LEONARDO, WHY DID YOU SHOOT HIM?" Gio yelled out.

"I could not listen to him any further. He was tarnishing my princess' reputation and I will not stand for that." I yelled out. "Clean this up and stop asking stupid questions."

For some reason, a part of me believed that guy but I want to hear Savannah's side of the story before taking action. But there is something quite fishy about her, I mean all her information seems way too good to be true and she has everything in Sandy's name so it can't trace back to her somehow. Neither Armani or I could find any extra information on her, she is either good at covering her tracks or someone is doing her dirty job for her. I brushed my thoughts off and went to see how the girls were settling in. I knocked softly and opened the door; their beds were empty. I felt panic rush in through my bones and I drew out my gun. I yelled out their names, looking in their closets and bathroom and they were not there. Where could they be, I ran to Savannah's room, and I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the three of them sleeping peacefully. They seemed so perfect, but I know that Savannah is hiding a lot of stuff from me, and I intend to find out what it is. I closed the door softly and went to my room which was front opposite Savannah's room. I took a cold shower to help gather my thoughts and I had questions that needed answers of which only one person could answer. I finished off and put on my grey sweatpants. I climbed in bed and laid my head on my palms and faced the ceiling.

I jolted awake when I heard running and yelling in the corridor. When did I fall asleep, I stretched out my stiff muscles. I got off my bed and put on some random black shirt to see what the noise was about. I followed the voices to downstairs in the kitchen and I found Sandy, Nora and of course Ben.

"DADDDYYYYYYY" Nora screamed.

"Guys, what is going on shouldn't you be getting ready?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"We were going to do that, but Sandy was hungry, so we came to get food." Nora said with a grin.

"Okay okay do what you have to do but don't be late." I said sternly.

"Yes dad." They replied in unison.

I left the kitchen to go back to sleep, before going to my room I peeked in Savannah's room, and she was still sleeping peacefully. I closed the door softly and went into mine. I took the shirt off and threw myself on the bed. I was drained by the events of yesterday, one more hour of sleep won't hurt. I closed my eyes and was almost drifting off when my ringtone blared through my room. 

"Morelli" I answered with my eyes still closed.

"LEONARDO ANGELO MORELLI" she yelled into my ear.

"Ma, my ears." I spoke.

"DON'T TELL ME ABOUT YOUR FUCKING EARS. WHAT IS THIS SHIT I AM HEARING THAT YOU WERE BEING SHOT AT YESTERDAY AT THE PARK AND THAT YOU HAVE A NEW GIRLFRIEND WHO HAS A FUCKING KID!?" My mother yelled.

"Mom, how do you know all that?" I asked sitting down.

"The shooting part Enzo told me, and the girlfriend part is all over social media and the TV." She spoke.

I immediately hung up and switched on the tv. There were pictures of us at the park, arcade, the diner basically everyplace we went yesterday. I began to panic, and I picked my phone to call Mani who took his fucking time to answer the phone.

"Yes boss."

"MANI SOMEONE LEAKED PICTURES OF ME, SAVANNAH AND THE GIRLS. FIND OUT WHO DID IT NOW. I WANT A NAME BY THE END OF TODAY." I yelled into the phone and hung up.

I began pacing up and down in my room. My phone chimed in message. Who the fuck could it be. I opened the message and I just got angrier.

'Stay away from Andrea and Cassandra if you know what's good for you. Or else little Nora is gonna get hurt.' - Unknown.

I groaned loudly and threw my phone across the wall and watched it smash into pieces. I went down to Mani's room to find all of them gathered in there.

"Good you're all here. Someone just sent me a message threatening me. Mani, I need you to trace the message and find out who has those kinds of guts. The rest of you, I want eyes on Savannah, Nora and Sandy at all times. Don't let them out your sight even when they use the bathroom. Are we clear?" I said in my usual commanding voice.

"Yes boss" they all said in unison, but Gio was shaking his head.

"I said are we clear." I said dangerously low facing Gio.

"Crys..." he got cut off by a scream coming from kitchen.

We all drew out our guns and went to the direction from where the scream came from. We went into the kitchen ready to shoot down any danger or threat. We piled up into the kitchen ready to shoot and we found Savannah wearing shorts and a tank top. Goddamn she looks hot but that's not the point right now. I ran to her and asked her questions and checked for any sign of harm. I breathed a breath of relief when I saw she was okay and she needs to talk to me. 

"We will leave you two alone, gents let's go" Diego said and they all disappeared. 

"Hellooooo, Earth to Leo." she said snapping her fingers in my face.

"Oh sorry, what were you saying." I said snapping out my thoughts and looked at her trying my best not to take her right here and now.

"WHY THE HELL AM I TRENDING, DO YOU KNOW THE DANGER, YOU JUST PUT ME AND SANDY IN." She yelled at me. 

"Yeah, about that, my guys are working to find out who leaked those pictures. Wait what danger?" I asked raising an eyebrow. I knew she was hiding something and now she is about to tell me one way or another.

"Wait there are pictures?" she asked changing the subject and running back to her room. She switched on the tv and the first channel that popped up there were pictures of us from yesterday. I saw Savannah's eyes go as wide as saucers. 

"I have to get Sandy and leave as soon as possible." She voiced out her thoughts and I got furious. SHE IS NOT LEAVING ME.

"YOU ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!" I yelled out and she looked me with tear-stricken eyes. Shit what have I done. 

"Sorry for yelling at you baby." I said getting closer to her, but she moved away like she was scared of me. 

"P-please d-don't h-hit m-me. I-I didn't mean to a-anger you" she said timidly holding out her hands.
