Chapter Twenty-nine

Savannah

I slowly fluttered my eyes open, my head felt so heavy. I groaned loudly trying to figure out my surroudings. I tried to move but there was some weight on my waist. I turned around and was met with Leo's sleeping figure. He looked so handsome and peaceful while asleep.

Suddenly the events of what happened before I passed out came back flooding and I scowled.

"Didn't your mother tell you it's rude to stare at people while their sleeping." Leo's raspy voice cut disturbed my thoughts.

"Why did you shoot her" I asked quietly.

Leo opened his eyes and those gorgeous grey orbs stared back in mine. "Because she insulted you and nobody insults what's mine." Leo said with an almost aggressive tone.

"But you didn't have to shoot her, could've just fired her" I said with an eyeroll.

"No Savannah, killing her was the right and only fair people. I don't want people to ever disrespect you, they should respect you like they respect me." He said slightly raising his voice.

"Okay okay I get it, next time just please don't do it in front of me. It triggers some horrifying memories." I said remembering him killing innocent people and giving me the blame.

"I promise I won't ever do it again." He said with a smile and he moved it for a kiss.

I stopped him with my hand, "Morning breath" I said and ran out of his bed to the en-suite.

I realized that my stuff was still in my room. I went out the en-suite and found Leo standing at the door, shirtless with a pair of grey sweatpants. Oh my gosh, he looked so heavenly, talk about God's gift to women. I quickly cleared my thoughts and remembered what I needed. Leo was blocking the doorway with all his handsome.

"Leo, get away from the door" I asked trying to stay serious.

"Give me a kiss first" he said pouting.

"No, I'll give it to you after I brush my teeth." I said gently.

"No no no, I want it now" he said stomping his feet looking like a toddler.

I burst out laughing at this big ass baby, who people are totally scared of. "Fine just one kiss" I said showing him with my finger.

"Yeah yeah, come here" he said coming closer and grabbing me by the waist.

He kissed me passionately like he needed this. His hands moved down from the waist and he squeezed my butt. I let out a quiet moan and he smirked. We pulled back when we were both running out of breath.

"Can I go now" I asked smiling.

"One more kiss" he asked with a pout.

"No way José" I said and ran out the room giggling.

I went into my room which was front opposite his. I took a quick shower and did all the necessary lady things. I wasn't sure what's happening today so I wore a tank top and draw string shorts with some slide on shoes.

I tied my hair in a messy bun. I went out and Leo came out his room as well wearing grey sweatpants and a fitted tee with slide on shoes as well. Great minds think alike I guess.

We went downstairs and everyone was seated down on the dining table.

"Good morning love birds" Ben said loudly turning all the attention on us.

I hid behind Leo to avoid all eyes on us, damn you Ben.

"Well it's about damn time you two joined us." My mom said sternly. "Well don't just stand there sit your asses down."
