Leonardo

Today was the day, the day I officially make Savannah my wife. I put on extra security, I don't want anything to ruin today. I was busy getting ready with my groomsmen which are Ben, Gio, and Yuri. Yeah we kinda became close after all the ordeal with Victor.

A loud knock echoed through the room and we all looked at each other. We pulled out our guns and I slowly opened the door. And there stood my lovely wife to be in her pregnant glory wearing her nightrobe which was her body perfectly, I felt myself getting hard. She looked distraught, her face was tear stricken and I quickly hid my gun signaling the others to do so as well, because the woman of the house said and I quote "If you or any of your goons keep waving you goddamn guns around my pregnant self, I will use them on you." And I ain't trying to get shot at on my wedding day.

"Hey baby, what's wrong." I asked softly leading her in the room.

"Vanny, you do know it's bad luck to see each other before the wedding right." Ben said in an obvious tone.

"Benjamin, I will rip out your prostate and feed it to Bruce and Bruno. I'm not in the mood for your shit right now." Savannah said in a dangerously low voice.

"Yup and that's our que, you're on your own buddy." Gio said dragging Ben out and Yuri followed silently.

Once the door closed, the water works came and I pulled her into a hug then let her cry her heart out. I whispered comforting words to her and she began to calm down after a few minutes.

"Wanna talk about it" I asked softly and she pulled back. Her eyes filled with tears.

"I missed you and they kept bombarding me with questions I have no answers to. I felt so overwhelmed by everything that's why I decided to come to you, my safe space." She said with a pout and started crying again. Yup the pregnancy hormones are definitely messing with her. We found out last week that we're having twins, so double the trouble.

"I missed you too Babygirl and don't worry it will all be over in a few hours." I said comforting her and she just nodded.

"I am also worried about Victor, what if he tries something. I mean your guys never found him or his body back at his house." She said softly and I could tell that this worried her by the look on her face.

I pulled her even closer to me, "I will kill him with my own bare hands if he dares tries something. I won't let anything happen to you and our family." I said squeezing her tight and she let out a light chuckle.

I looked at my watch and we still had two hours before the ceremony. And an idea popped in mind.

"Wanna take an hour nap before we become husband and wife?" I said with a grin.

She looked at me with a grin and nodded repeatedly.

"Come along then" I softly dragged her to the bed and we cuddled to sleep.

******3 hours later******

"Leonardo Angelo Morelli"

"Savannah Andrea White"

Our mothers said in unison and we jumped out of bed.

"Ma, what the hell" I said still sleepy.

"We've been looking all over for you for the past three hours. We thought you got cold feet and left." Lucy yelled at us.

"Sorry it's my fault" Savannah said softly holding back a sob.

"No it's mine, I'm the one who suggested the nap." I said pulling her closer.

"Argue later, let's go get you ready Bambi" Lucy said gently holding out her arms to Savannah who stood up hesitantly.

After they got out I was left with my mom and she looked like she had a lot to say, here we go again.

She sighed and took a seat next to me, "Figlio, listen Savannah has been through hell and back all her life. I can see you love her and you'll move mountains just to see her happy or see her smile. After Nora's mother left, I had lost all hope that you'll ever love again. You became so closed off from the world, you shut everyone of us out and you became cold hearted and distant. That tramp had left you hurt and broken, you had lost all hope in love, and you couldn't even stand to hear the word 'love'. And Nora as young as she was when everything happened she was hurt too, poor girl needed her mother and she left her. She tried her best to hide it but she needed a mother's love, Nica, your aunt and I tried our best to fill that void but I could tell it wasn't enough. Both your lives had turned grey but then Savannah came along with Sandy and they brought color back into you and Nora's lives. They brought back the joy you guys once had, they brought life back into you and for that I will forever be grateful for them. I love you and I want what's best for you and Nora and that is Savannah and Sandy." My mom said with tears running down her face.

I pulled her closer for a hug and I had tears running down my face too. Nora's mom just disappearing like that really hurt all of us, not just me and Nora.

"Sorry to disturb this touching Mother-son moment but we really gotta get going, the guests are getting tired of Ben's jokes." Gio said peeping through the door.

Forty five minutes later, I was standing at the alter with my groomsmen along with my parents waiting for the lovely bride to make her entrance.

The bridal chorus started playing and everyone stood up. I looked towards the doorway and there she stood in her mighty glory. We locked eyes for a few seconds before she started walking down the aisle.

She was walking down the aisle on the arm of her father, she looked heavenly in her wedding dress. Words enough couldn't describe how she looked, she was just perfect.

Her dad put her hand in mine and patted my shoulder with a proud look. He went to sit down next to his wife who was crying tears of joy.

"Who gives this woman to be married to this man" the officiant questioned.

Bruce and Sofia stood up and replied, "We do".
