Chapter Thirty-one

Savannah

Leo and I slowly creeped in the restaurant with me tailing behind him. The lights suddenly went on.

"SUPRISE!!!" everyone yelled and that caught both me Leo off-guard. By everyone I mean, my parents, Leo's parents, the girls, some friends and some guards of Leo.

"WHAT THE HELL??" I yelled out and they laughed.

"Well, this was a last-minute thing, but welcome to your surprise engagement party." Lucy said with a big smile.

"I thought I asked you to postpone it ma" Leo said pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I am your mother child; I do not take orders from you." Lucy said leaving no space for argument and if Leo is smart, he will shut the hell up.

He was about to say something, but I instantly cut him off, "Well this is beautiful, thank you Lucy." I said smiling sweetly.

"Honey, I have told you several times now, you can call me Mom. I mean we are going to be family soon." Lucy said giving me a hug.

"Well thank you mom." I said correcting myself.

 "Everyone is dressed up and the bride and groom are wearing comfortable clothes." Ben said out loud. 

I looked at both me and Leo and I wanted to laugh but I held it in. 

"Do not worry that is sorted, Leo go with Ben and Anna go with Nica. They will show you your outfits and where to get dressed. 

We left the restaurant to the nearest hotel, and we were given separate rooms to get dressed. Nica showed me my dress and it was the exact same dress from the shop earlier. 

"How did you know" I asked in a surprised tone. 

"Well, your friend Natalia told the moms what happened, and they went crazy. Long story short, the woman was fired on the spot, and they got the dress on discount." Nica said with a shrug.

"Gosh, those two are something else." I said laughing.

"Tell me about it, let me go get my make up kit from the car. I will be right back" Nica said and went out the room.

I took a quick shower and dressed in one of the hotel robes. I heard a knock on the door, who could that be.

I opened the door, and I was met with my worst nightmare. I moved back in fear.

"Surprised to see me" he said in a smirk.

"Victor, what are you doing here" I asked still moving back.

"Coming to take what that Italian stole from me." he said coming closer.

I kept moving back until I was backed up against a wall. And he stood in front of me and I was enveloped in his strong scent. 

"This will only sting a little." I felt a pinch in my neck, and I started seeing double.

"Leo" which came out as a whisper was the last thing I said before blacking out.

Leonardo

I was almost finished getting dressed when Nica burst in the room looking frantic. 

"She's gone" Nica said and burst into tears.

"What do you mean, she's gone" Ben asked.

"I went out to get my make up kit from my car and when I came back, she was gone." Nica said in between sobs.
