After we were hurriedly forced to leave the mall, everyone was tense when we arrived home. Ben and the others just dropped us off and left. Leo's men were running up and all over the house.

"Mom what's happening" I asked my mom who looked very pissed off.

"I don't know either, nobody is telling me a damn thing. I can't even find Lucy." She said and stormed off.

"Well girl this seems like a family matter and I have other pressing issues, I need to attend to so see you around" Nattie said giving me a hug and leaving.

Lucy appeared from upstairs looking all worried, "Lucy what's wrong" I asked.

"Nothing you should worry yourself about honey, but I got bad news. We have to move the engagement party to tomorrow night" she said and walked away before I could reply.

Great just great, I looked at the time and it was still early. I decided to go to my Cafe, it's been a while. I went to get my car keys and went to the garage but one of Leo's goons stopped me.

"Excuse me ma'am, I'm afraid I can't let you leave the premises." He said and I was getting pissed at this point. I won't be Leo's prisoner who does he think he is.

"And why is that" I asked folding my arms trying to look intimidating.

"Boss' orders" he said seriously.

I groaned loudly and decided to go to my room instead. Fuck this. Fuck Leo. Fuck everything. Now I'm supposed to sit here like a prisoner.

I heard Sandy's voice arguing, yup she's pissed alright. In just 5 seconds she's gonna barge in here and complain.

"Mommmmyyyyyy" she yelled barging in my room with poor Nora tailing behind.

I burst out laughing, I couldn't hold it in. She's just way too cute and funny.

"Sorry sweetheart, what's wrong" I asked gently trying to hold in my laugh.

"Well, Nora and I wanted to go play outside with Bruce and Bruno, but we were told we can't because Daddy said so." She said and threw herself dramatically on the floor.

I couldn't hold my laughter in anymore, I burst out laughing till my eyes watered. I love this kid.

"Sorry Bambi, the same thing happened to me too." I said wiping my eyes.

"Why mommy" Nora asked quietly.

"I don't know guess we'll ask your dad when he comes back." I said with a shrug.

I could tell they were bored and I was too so I suggested we go bake and their little faces lit up with excitement.

We rushed downstairs to the kitchen and I took out all the ingredients needed for baking a cake. I put on an apron and the girls followed suit.

We baked an easy strawberry, chocolate cake. It should've taken 45mins max to make it, but thanks to Nora and Sandy it took a whole one hour and thirty minutes. Instead of one cake, we ended up with three cakes and a very messy kitchen.

"What the hell is going on here" Leo asked looking at the messed up kitchen and our chocolate covered selves.

"It was the girls"

"It was mommy"

We all said in unison and then burst out laughing. Soon the whole house was huddled up in the kitchen looking at the mess we made, they wanted to laugh but they held them in. Leo face palmed himself, I could tell he was stressed about something.
