The next afternoon when Kristen went to Mabel's room to get Rosie she immediately knew something was up and refused to leave until Mabel spilled and the information. Knowing there was no way out of it Mabel reluctantly told her about Joe and what had happened.

"Shit, have you seen him at all since?"

Mabel shook her head in confusion, her mind still trying to process the kiss.

"Have you I don't know, called him?" Kristen stated obviously.

"Call him?" She laughed. "I don't even have his number" Mabel groaned in frustration as she threw herself back onto the bed.

"Okay enough logical thinking. How was it?" Kristen asked excitedly. Mabel's face grew into a large smile as she sighed remembering all the details of the kiss, the way his lips moulded against hers, the way his touch burned her skin with desire. She looked up at Kristen who watched the girl with the huge smile on her face.

"Wonderful, it was absolutely wonderful" Mabel answered giggling like a teenager.

Kristen squealed in excitement throwing herself beside Mabel. Rosie watched the pair and flashed a smile to her mother. Kristen instantly picked her up and lay her with them.

"Aunty Mabel is in love Ro" she sing-songed.

Mabel chuckled looking over at the girl and squishing her face.

"Actually aunty Mabel is stuck in a shit situation, yes she is" she baby talked. This earned her a giggle from Rose.

A knock appeared on Mabel's door so she shouted for them to come in, the door swung open revealing a stressed looking Beau.

"You two haven't seen Joe have you? We argued last night and he left, I'm not entirely sure where he is but he didn't come back, and is not answering my calls." she stressed throwing herself down on the chair. Mabel glanced to Kristen unsure of what to say so Kristen took the reigns on this one.

"No we haven't, has he got his location on?" She asked innocently.

"No he doesn't unfortunately. It was the first thing I checked" Beau groaned.

Mabel simply sat silently holding Rosie awkwardly. She couldn't bare to look Beau in the eye after last night, her pit of guilt growing more and more the longer she looked at her. Mabel wondered where Joe went to last night considering he never stayed with Beau and he left Mabel, who he was going to stay with as an alternative. She couldn't help but be slightly concerned that no one had heard from him so she decided to head for a walk about the hotel in hopes of spotting him. She excused herself by using the excuse that the was simply going to speak to the front of house about getting a bigger room for the remainder of her visit. This wasn't a complete lie but her priority was finding Joe.

She wandered about the hotel lobby in hopes he was maybe there somewhere but much to her dismay he was nowhere to be found. She groaned in frustration and decided to head to the front desk. She was greeted by a handsome man who couldn't have been much older than her, he greeted her with a warm smile.

"Hello, can I help you?"

"Yes actually I'm looking for someone, his name is Joseph, he's about 5'10" light brown hair, stubble on his face, he was wearing a white shirt and some brown dress trousers." She rambled and noticed the male looking very confused. "Cut on his forehead?" She added hoping it would ring a bell.

"I'm sorry miss, I haven't seen him" he frowned placing his hand on top of Mabel's. She cringed at the physical contact and smiled softly pulling her hand away. She thanked him for his 'help' and continued to search the hotel for any sign of him, once again with absolutely no luck. She decided to quickly check the bar in case he was there, but once again it was just full of standard rich people who had all the time in the world to day drink. She realised she was going to have absolutely no luck and thought she bay as well head back to the desk and see about a bigger room. Much to her distaste the man from earlier was still at the desk and so she forced a smile and headed over again.
