Today (outfit 13) I'd gotten up and ready to start another day of school. To look out the window of my bedroom and see it was raining I had a big smile on my face but I also knew that meant I couldn't ride the motorcycle to school today.

Not unless Shawn dropped me off but then someone might see him. And I was not willing to take that risk. That also meant I shouldn't get my riding jacket wet so I'd have to wear a poncho or take an umbrella. Or slip it into my bag.

I glanced down at my bag and decided it was probably for the best. This jacket has been through so much as it was. I would've brought to get a special cleaning to fix the tatter and torn parts of it but that was one the things that mad it special.

It was a jacket that carried so many memories. And it met a lot to me Shawn gave it to me when he found me in the woods when my parents died. Saving me from the life I once knew. And now my class knows my real last name.

It's only a matter of time before they find out who my caretaker really is. Morning uncle Shawn. I'd welcomed him coming down for breakfast leaning over to kiss his cheek. Morning kiddo. How'd you sleep? No worse or better than usual.

I know you saw its raining out there today. Some of your favorite weather. Yeah, that's right. Take an umbrella please on your way out. I know you like being out in the rain but I'd rather you didn't get sick.

Even though Shawn is not my parent he's the best one I've ever had he doesn't really have rules for me to follow, and rarely tells me no which is fine cause I don't do or ask for anything that would require him to tell me no as much as other kids.

My birth parents would've never let me go out in any bad weather at all. No question of it. It would ruin my hair, my makeup my clothes. Whatever they wanted to be perfect that would be ruined. Shawn on the other hand care about my well being.

My health and if I was safe and didn't want me getting sick. He's done so much for me the least I can do is respect his wishes and not take my time hanging out in the rain and take an umbrella with me.

Tell your friends I say hello. I will. After breakfast I grab my bag and an umbrella and walk to the nearest subway station. To meet up with Maya and Riley. The subway that took me places was closer to the apartment then the school.

So, I'd gotten on and listened for my stop. Needing to pay attention so I wouldn't miss it. My hearing was fine my eyesight was fine still doesn't help the dyslexia part or the can't read part. I walk in to the lobby area and go up.

I buzz the intercom and Riley opens the door to let me in. Ah Ms. Luna a good morning to you on this nice rainy morning. Jack please Mr. Matthews the name "Luna" is otherwise dead to me. As pretty as its meaning is.

I much prefer the metaphorical meaning to names Hunter and Jack. Or is symbolic. That would be correct Farrah. See these kids do learn something. Except that's English and not History Cory Topanga points out reminding him.

Morning Riley Auggie Maya. Are we ready to leave? Have you already had breakfast this morning? Topanga asks me. Yes ma'am. You know as mysterious as you are you are certainly very polite. Thank you. Well we'll be off to school now.

Stay dry girls. Her mother waves after us. No promises I hear Maya tell her as we leave out the door taking rain jackets with them as they exit and we end up once again at the subway station. We watch everyone interact with the rain.

Many people not having umbrellas but keeping their food dry. It befuddles me to all and any extent. I just don't understand people. I understand people like Shawn I believe in hope and I try with luck not sure about love.
