Merry Christmas my child

It was that time of the year again snow was on the ground and it was Christmas. It was winter break so I didn't have school. So I slept in. I can't remember a Christmas with my birth parents things are only good memories with Shawn. Merry Christmas kid. He kissed my forehead waking me up. Merry Christmas Shawn. I have a surprise for you not until later. No problem. Anyways you didn't have to get me anything I have everything I've always wanted. I have a horse again I have a home that's not a castle I can eat whatever I want can make a mess sing in the shower have art supplies dress however ride on a motorcycle have friends work a job kind of via helping out in the cafeteria I can dance in the rain and play in the snow not wear make up or anything fancy when I don't want to. And most importantly I have you. Someone who actually loves me and cares about me. Not for who I am or what I have or that I'm biologically rich even if I can't touch any of it without your permission or until I'm 18.

I have all I have right here and my friends live a subway train station away or a few actually but still. I'm gonna go over there in a little bit but do you wanna make hot chocolate and watch and Christmas movie? Can we play in the snow and build snow angels and snow men have a snowball fight or something? We can do whatever you want squirt. Whatever makes your little heart happy. I love you Shawn. I share your affections. So, what do you want to do first but I do have something planned tonight. What kind of plans? Where's the fun in a surprise if I spoil it for you. I'd rather spoil you rotten like a real dad or a real uncle. So what do you wanna do first? Shall we waste our energy doing all the outside things you asked to do and then come in and watch a movie warming up with some hot coco? Sounds great Shawn that sounds like a perfect Christmas and later I'll be hanging out with my friends at Riley's so we have until then to do anything else.

Great. So, go put on some warm clothes a hat a heavy coat scarf earmuffs boots gloves everything. I'd never had anyone care about me so much he wasn't even my real parent and he took care of me better than anyone ever has. We spent hours outside. We did everything I wanted to do. Just like I suggested. We watched the Nightmare before Christmas and Rise of the Guardians while we had pizza and hot chocolate. And then I got out of my pjs and got ready (outfit 54) to go. Meanwhile at Riley's she was setting up the tree while her parents talked about the holidays. Honey its out first year doing the holidays is your mother gonna go easy on me? Topanga asked Cory. Do you want comfort or truth? He asked her. Comfort she told him. It's gonna be hideous he told her. I told you I wanted you to comfort me. She complained. And then he said it again as they hugged. It's Maya and Farrah's first time with the holidays with us and I need the holidays to go good for them especially Maya.

Well I need the holiday to go good for your mother. Cory said. Liar she scolded him. And he agreed. I need the holiday to go good for Shawn Shawn's coming he said overjoyed! The intercom buzzed and he ran over to it. Shawn? He asked. Maya and Farrah we said. Shawn? He asked again. Awe what's the matter your boyfriend isn't here yet? Maya teased. He's not my boyfriend he said offended. Oh really? Then what are we gonna do with the Shawn and Cory 4eva ornament? Topanga asked him. We'll just put it in front of the Shawn and Topanga wedding ornament he told her hanging it up. My whole life Topanga turned to Riley. Topanga pulled Auggie away to help her work on dinner. I don't think he even exists Maya said as I nudged her because even though I told Riley and Maya the truth about who my legal caretaker is they've never met him they don't come to my house we go to Riley's.

He's real Maya I've known the guy my whole life. I could've said the same thing but I couldn't out loud. And I couldn't wait for them to meet. You're fun to play with Maya told him as I walked behind her. Riley I got you a present. Maya said. She handed her a card and said that a donation had been made in her name for the Maya Hart coat foundation. AKA the coat she was currently wearing. Very nice coat Maya but I got you guys presents too. Aw Farrah you didn't need to do that. I got presents for everyone. Including Farkle if he shows up and Lucas if he comes over. And I even got a present for my caretaker. What did you get him? Riley asked me a hand on my shoulder. It was hard but you know how he travels around the world taking pictures and works for a website and I showed you the jacket and journal as part of my parent day thing? It's a journal of my drawings paintings poems and diary entries that I printed out to paste into the book that he gave me when I started living with him kind of a welcome home present. And I have an empty scrapbook to put photos in.
