After getting a very early dinner and returning home, Y/N was again perched on his couch eating his junk food.
He wouldn't normally have such unhealthy stuff, but sometimes even a trained assassin had to let themselves go once in a while.
The cash he'd got from the hit went under his bed, alongside a few other bags full to the brim with money. There was probably over a hundred million yen just sitting there, but Y/N couldn't be bothered to cash it in at a bank - they would ask too many questions.
The 5pm news was on, and Y/N watched with amusement as the same two reporters from last time were once again puzzling over him.
Just a few hours ago, there was another disturbance in Kikenshingou. Five armed criminals attempted to rob a jewellery store containing valuable materials.
They had been sighted in that area multiple times before. One of them had a speed quirk.
However, their break-in was stopped by what the police are assuming is the same figure sighted just yesterday.
Each of the criminals has been found dead at the crime scene. One of them seems to have gone through extreme mental trauma, another has bullet wounds. The last three are all in the same state as the victims from yesterday - with no signs of any wounds.
We are currently assuming that this mysterious person is a vigilante. All the signs match up.
Some of the public has dubbed this hero 'The Angel of Death', a name that suits him. He leaves no trace, and nobody knows how he kills so quickly and efficiently.
The question is - while we will be looking out for this angel, where will he strike next? Will he reveal himself? Is he a true hero, or is he a villain?
Y/N finished off the last of his food, licking the remaining grease off his hands and getting up to wash them in the sink.
"They think I'm a vigilante?" He glanced back at the tv while drying off his hands.
"I don't want to be known as a hero... I don't care about the publicity."
Y/N stood still for a second as he thought. "I wonder what it would be like if I was feared. Cause I'm not being known for what I actually do. It just feels off."
The news reporter carried on rambling, but one thing caught Y/N's attention in particular. The male reporter was speaking.
"Remember, if you have information on this vigilante's whereabouts, then call us! Everybody wants to hear."
A sly smile crept onto the teen's face. That would be kinda funny if I called them. Lemme do it.
Y/N quickly searched up the news website's phone number, then opened the phone app and rang it using an anonymous number.
The police could probably still try to trace it, but Y/N had several things that would throw them off his location, courtesy of some of his... business partners. So he didn't have to worry.
The call went through pretty much instantly. On the other side was a female operator who most definitely wasn't in the live studio Y/N watched. "Hello, how can I help you?"
"Hey, I heard you guys were taking information on that vigilante?" Y/N made sure to mask his voice a bit, making it slightly deeper and talking with a weird accent.
The phone line was probably crackly enough to stop them from finding out his real voice, but always good to take a few chances.
The operator replied. "Yes, do you have anything?"
