Y/N was in a better mood that day.

He'd sorted out all the details yesterday, and had worked out an almost terrifyingly simple plan to complete his contract. Literally just walk up behind him, shoot him with a quirk-erasing bullet, then touch him.

Aizawa looked surprised at his choice of internship, and Y/N shrugged it off.

"There are loads of students going there, even though most of them are from the older classes. It's a really popular agency!"

The teacher nodded slowly, noting Y/N's choice on a piece of paper. "Today we're going to bring most of Class 1-A to the train station so they can go to their various internships, but Snipe's internship is in the city so you can go there yourself."

Y/N pursed his lips and replied. "Yes sir."

He quickly brought up Google Maps on his phone and typed in the agency name, selecting the only option that came up.

"It's only a few blocks away?"

Aizawa nodded. "Snipe will be waiting there for you. You may leave, we will not be doing any lessons before heading to the station."

Y/N bobbed his head, and left the classroom, turning translucent to avoid running into a few students in the hallway outside.

He walked out the main building, phasing through the outer wall of U.A, and followed his phone's directions to a small standalone building that looked like it had been built in the '90s.

Y/N looked at a bronze sign located above the heavy wooden doors. "Ranged Hero Agency - Snipe."

He knocked on the door, stepping back as it opened to reveal the pro hero who ran the place.

Y/N thought about activating his quirk then and there, but decided against it - after all, it might be a bit early.

"I'm Y/N, here for the Hero Internships?"

Snipe looks kind of like a cowboy, doesn't he? Like a fancy teched out cowboy, with his mask that he wears.

The man beckoned Y/N in, and they walked into an open area decorated wild west style.

It was lit dimly by fake electric candles posted around the room, and lined with dark wood that gave it a homely atmosphere. The floor was a thick carpet, and even the few desks looked to be made of full wood.

Snipe gestured around. "What do you think?" He spoke with a significant British accent that Y/N couldn't help but like.

Y/N nodded thoughtfully as he looked around. "It's very... different from what I was expecting."

The man laughed softly. "Yeah, I like this rather than all the glass and metal of modern life. There's just a feeling you get that you don't with anything else."

Y/N smiled, and walked into the centre of the room, turning a full circle. "There's no second floor?"

"No, there are only three rooms. The bathroom is there," Snipe said, pointing to a door that had bright white light shining around its frame. "It's the only room that had a bright atmosphere, and is the only modern thing I'll tolerate in here."

He gestured to another door, this one having the same pattern of the wall so it blended in. "That is my personal office, where I will be most of the time."

Y/N noticed something. "Where is nobody else here? I was under the impression there was a big group of other students interning here from other years."

Snipe nodded in confirmation. "It's just that they're all out on assignments. I usually stay here alone, coordinating them if needed."

There was a long silence as both of them thought of what to say.

"So, what do I do now?"

"I'm going to sort out some paperwork for my responsibility for you over the next week. I'll set you an assignment in a minute - just look at your phone."

Snipe walked into his office, shutting the door behind him. Y/N heard a lock click.

The boy took a seat at one of the desks, opening his message app as he waited for something to come through.

"I have a one week window to finish this contract. Six days now that today I haven't brought the quirk-erasing bullets."

A message popped up, from an unknown number that Y/N assumed was Snipe.

Go to a few specific uniform and clothing shops, and buy yourself a hero uniform. Really, there's no way I'm letting you walk around in a school uniform, and you'll have to get one anyway when you become a pro. That is all for today, report to me again tomorrow.

"Huh." Y/N smiled, leaving the agency and stepping out onto the streets again.

I was at U.A for like five minutes, then I was told to come here for like five minutes, now I'm back out again shopping?

Y/N looked up some shops selling specially designed equipment for heroes, selecting a few. He sighed.

"Shopping time."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Y/N hit the jackpot on what he wanted in the very first shop.

He'd thought about what he wanted to appear a lot on the way here, and almost laughed out loud as he realised what he would look like.

My name is a really edgy one - I mean, Shinigami? I might as well match that with a really edgy costume.

Y/N looked at a hooded cloak that must've been made using some weird creating quirk. It was incredibly light, as well as soft, apparently both fireproof and waterproof.

The cloak was also durable enough to stop rips and tears from happening, even with a knife or blade, and somehow could stop low calibre bullets?

The boy looked unbelievingly at the woman behind the counter. "Is this for real?"

The woman nodded. "My quirk is that I can empower different items every so often. This single item of clothing took me like three weeks to make."

Just to prove her point, she took out a lighter and clicked it a few times to start the flame, placing it right up against the material. Nothing happened.

Next, she took out a bottle of water and a carving knife, pouring the water on first. It just ran off, falling onto the floor. The woman attacked the cloak with the carving knife, hacking at it brutally, but the material somehow didn't rip.

"I can't test the bullet resistance - I don't have a gun."

Y/N nodded in satisfaction, buying the cloak as well as some high black boots and baggy cargo trousers. The other two items were normal, no special powers.

It was way more expensive than Y/N thought. The boots and trousers cost about normal, but the cloak was 350,000 Yen, which was insane.

He paid for the items and stuffed them into a bag, popping into a simple clothing shop next to the specialty shop to pick up a cool shirt with an angel wing design.

"It's gonna look great at night, but in the daytime I'll just look out of place."
