Y/N decided to lay low for a few days after killing the police.

Stories about the Angel of Death were making the rounds in both national and international news. Citizens in Musutafu were questioning the true motives of the 'killer', not stopping to consider the most simple one.

"All I want is some cash, and these conspiracy theorists think I'm out to bring down the government?"

Y/N attended school, focusing on his lessons while trying to ignore the theories about him going around the school.

Most people in U.A were more interested in the nature of the killer's quirk rather than his motives, which was a surprise to Y/N.

However, most of his class was hell-bent on trying to figure out what Y/N's quirk was. They'd thought telekinesis, but that wouldn't explain his added speed or glowing eyes.

The teen wouldn't give them anything though, which made some of the more curious members frustrated.

Even though Y/N hadn't been active and getting money for a few days, police presence in all the areas he'd been was increased, and the news agencies were just waiting like piranhas to latch onto anything about him.

He'd been focusing on new ways to use his quirk - both in combat and out of it.

Y/N had found he could drain energy from objects he'd previously energised, taking it out of the powered butter knife to return it to its dull state.

It worked in the same way draining living things did, causing his eyes to glow purple and giving him all the same things it normally did.

"Maybe I could energise a few small things, then only drain them when I need to for a boost? That'd be a good way to keep my quirk hidden for longer."

The sports festival was rapidly approaching, and Y/N was determined to win. He knew that it would be hard - everybody had quirks that were much more versatile than his.

His quirk was really only useful for combat, and would be at a disadvantage in any non-fighting event.

Everybody else seemed confident in their chances, most of them looking like they'd done some serious training.

But two days from the festival, and Y/N had enough of the training and school. The teen wasn't used to the peaceful life anyway.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

And that was how Y/N found himself on the fortieth floor of a gleaming skyscraper at night, phasing through a heavy steel door to drain the life out of several guards.

The main target had rushed to hide in a panic room, a portly man dressed in an expensive business suit. His private security contractor had proved useless against the hooded killer approaching him.

"P-please, I'll give you anything. You want a job? Food? Money? I have it all, I can give you what you want." The man was shaking, eyes wide and sweat dripping down his chubby face.

Nothing had seemed to stop the invader. He went on a killing spree, murdering several guards and staff that had tried to stop him.

The panic room was one of the only full metal rooms, reinforced against any attack. The windows overlooking Musutafu were reinforced glass, bulletproof, and thick metal shutters could be put down to protect them even more. It was lavishly decorated, with thick carpet and a low wooden table.

Y/N paused at the mention of money. "How much money will you give me?"

The man considered for less than a second. "Ten million yen." That was a solid amount, more than quadruple what he would get for killing him.
