"It's the Sports Festival!"
"Are you ready for the sports festival?"
"Have you been training?"
"Where do you go for the sports festival?"
"I'm so excited for the sports festival!"
That was what bombarded Y/N as he walked into the class on the day of the Sports Festival. The room was in chaos, everybody chattering excitedly to each other.
Even Iida didn't seem like he wanted to calm everybody down, which was a first.
Y/N made his way past a few of his peers, completely ignoring them. Everybody was dressed in their U.A gym uniform, which was loose and not restricting for easy movement.
Y/N had taken the liberty to add a small pouch tied to his ankle, resting it inside his shoe so it didn't move when he ran.
It wasn't the most comfortable, but it was his preparation for the festival. Y/N sat down at his desk, one of the only ones actually sitting down, and rested his head in folded arms.
The boy was dead tired. He'd been up late draining as much energy as possible from plants as possible, and shoving all that energy into marbles that he'd put into the pouch. Each one was probably more energy than he would need for a full day of fighting, but he expected to need a lot of power.
Soon, Aizawa woke up, climbing out of his sleeping bag. The teacher looked even more tired than Y/N felt. "We will now leave to go to the stadium."
The class followed him, walking a few minutes to a huge stadium located just outside the grounds of U.A. They could hear the cheering of spectators from inside before they'd even reached the gates, and huge crowds of people surrounded the building on all sides.
The class followed Aizawa to a sign that said Participants' Room, and as a group, they went inside.
It was a bare-bones room. A few lockers, a few rectangle tables, and some chairs. Bright lights shone from the ceiling, and even though they were now enclosed on all sides by walls, the roaring of the crowd and the screaming of the presenters could be heard.
Y/N immediately stole a chair from one of the tables and tossed it over to the corner of the room, slumping into it and closing his eyes tiredly. He would need all the energy he could get for the events.
The rest of the class took their own seats around the tables, a few of them giving him concerned looks. Y/N just waved them off. "I'm tired."
Meanwhile, a stand-off was happening in the middle between Todoroki and Midoriya. Why the dual quirk user would want to intimidate the small green-haired boy was confusing - it was clear there was a huge ability gap between the two.
Y/N's breathing slowed after a while, chest rising and falling slowly as he slept soundly in his chair. Nobody really wanted to bother the h/c boy. He looked calm and so much less intense while sleeping.

Y/N was slapped awake by a furious Bakugo. "We're going out now, asshole. Wake up."
The disgruntled boy clutched at his cheek. "Thank you for waking me up, Sonic." He smiled, rubbing at his eyes to clear away any traces of sleep.
The angry blond clenched his fist. "Stop calling me that!" Then he stormed off, causing Y/N to laugh softly.
Y/N got up from his chair, watching the rest of the class exit the room. They were all headed down a large passageway, lit up by something at the end. "Finally, is the festival actually gonna start?"
