Time flew by faster than Y/N had thought it would as he walked round with his friends.

He hadn't realised how dull his life was, but then again, he'd been virtually alone for years.

The boy alongside some friends had soon burnt through the majority of the money he'd brought along. They were surprised at how easily Y/N spent it, but he just reassured them by saying he had rich parents.

The clock hit three in what seemed to be the space of a few minutes, and as a group the class met up at the entrance to the mall again.

They were chatting excitedly between themselves, and Iida was thanking Y/N over and over again. The tall boy was holding two pairs of shoes, Y/N having bought both the sets he was trying to decide between.

Mineta suggested swimming next, which the whole class agreed to. "We have a day before going on that training camp, so might as well make the most of it!"

Oh, he definitely has some ulterior motives. But if that's what he wants to do, then I guess I'll let pervs be pervs.

Y/N declined the invitation, deciding to head home. He was dead tired, even though it was only three.

Besides, he probably had another contract to complete by now.

"I'm good," he said to whoever would listen. "I've got to head back now."

Midoriya looked shaken for some reason. "Okay." Whatever Shigaraki said really messed him up. I wonder if he's told anybody.

Glancing at the green-haired boy, Y/N gently took his shoulder and separated from the main group, Uraraka following them.

He sat Midoriya down on a bench, waving off a few confused looks from his classmates. "Is there something wrong?"

Uraraka came in protectively, squishing up to Midoriya and playing it off cool. "Nothing, why would you ask?"

Y/N didn't know how to reply. I can hardly say that I know Shigaraki.

"Oh, Midoriya just looked off. A bit scared of something?"

The girl tried to deny it, but Midoriya held up a hand to stop her. He looked tired. "I met Shigaraki."

Y/N frowned, putting on an act. "Who's that?"

"Well, he's a very powerful villain and the leader of the League of Villains. White hair, red eyes kind of thing?" The boy shivered.

"Oh. Well, why'd he come to see you? And why are you not dead?" Y/N answered his own question. Because I asked him not to kill you.

Midoriya shrugged. "He just wanted to talk, he said... apparently he was booking for answers."

The green-haired boy thought hard for a second. "He looked kind of drunk, now that I think back. And it felt like he wanted to kill me, but he didn't."

You're welcome.

"I'm glad you're alive, but I actually gotta go. Chores and whatnot."

"Alright, see you Y/N."

Y/N slipped away, pulling out his phone and raising it to his ear.

He was already a good few metres away, moving quickly. "Hello?"

Then he was gone, lost in the crowd and his voice inaudible.

Midoriya glanced at Uraraka. "Why did he ask that?"

The girl shrugged, moving so she was sitting on the other side of the bench. "I didn't think you looked scared at all."

"Same, I thought I was good at hiding it."

Uraraka took out her phone, waving it slightly. "I think you should tell someone about Shigaraki. Him being here is a serious security risk."

"Sure, I guess? I don't really want to... he had the chance to kill me, but he left me alone."

Y/N thanked the taxi driver and hopped out, paying again more than was needed.

He'd been dropped off on the street where his alleyway was located, and took a minute to pop into a nearby convenience store and pick up a few sweets.

He was already carrying a bag filled with random stuff he'd bought at the shopping mall, and so just stuffed the treats in there alongside swimming shorts and various other items. Mostly clothing.

The boy was leaving the store with a satisfied look on his face, happy about the amount of money he'd spent today. "Damn, I forgot how good it is to waste money on things that I don't care about."

Y/N walked down, ducking into his alleyway and humming a song as he went towards the back of the alley.

And stopped in his steps as a smartly dressed woman came out in front of him.

"Who dafuq are you?"

The woman was dressed in high heels alongside a suit, and for some reason looked familiar. "You absolute idiot."

Y/N remembered the severe voice immediately. "You're the person who got me into the school! How've you been!"

The lady glared at Y/N coldly.

"You killed Snipe."

He didn't even try to deny it, chuckling slightly. "Well yeah. That's kind of my job."

"You're the Angel of Death that the public is crazy about." The woman spoke sharply. Y/N widened his eyes in mock horror.

"You've got me! Oh no, what will I do?"

The woman stretched out a hand, and a small stone from the floor flew up and smacked Y/N square in the forehead, making him yelp.

"Stop fooling around. The World Heroes Association is thankful for your past services, but you're taking it too far, killing a pro hero."

".... This isn't the first time I've killed a pro. What about the other twenty? Are they not important enough?"

The woman stepped close to Y/N, who still had an amused look on his face. "You're walking a fine line here. If there are any other murders of heroes, we will not hesitate to put you down."

"I'm an attack dog?" Y/N took the time to look offended.

"Precisely."

The boy nodded, not backing down. "I bet I can get the news about what you guys hired me for before you kill me."

"Impossible. No news agency-"

"What was it again?" YN tapped his chin in thought. "Killing villains that you were too incompetent to deal with yourself?"

The woman flushed. "Those would have resulted in a loss of hero life."

"Maybe killing gangsters and drug traffickers you couldn't be bothered to deal with?" Y/N was listing the things off on his fingers.

"Hmmm, what about eliminating those pro heroes that didn't suit your perfect image? Those heroes that preferred to do things their own way?"

The woman was silent. There was no comeback to that.

"OOO, I got it! The spiciest news would probably be how your association asked me to kill off those activists. You know, the ones that were campaigning for better human rights for heroes, environmental improvements, quality of life?"

Y/N grinned at the woman, who wasn't replying. "Those changes would've cost many of your governments as well as your association a crap ton of money, wouldn't they? But oh no, those people died in a villain attack."

The lady stepped back, frowning deeply. "You were there to do a job, and not question it."

Y/N nodded in agreement, pushing past the woman to get to the door of his house. "And that is exactly the same situation here - I'm just doing a job."

The boy dug out a few sweets from his bag, tossing them at the woman, then opened the hidden door and entered his house.

"Don't interfere with my business."
