The next day, Class 1-A was up bright and early at five-thirty, eating a quick cold breakfast and putting on their U.A gym uniform to go outside.

It was chilly, much colder than in the city, and most of the class was incredibly tired after their long walk the day before.

Aizawa didn't seem any different, probably because he was used to getting little sleep. "Today we're going to be training your quirks."

He asked Bakugo to throw a ball, which the explosive boy gladly agreed to. It went over seven hundred metres, which to Y/N was impressive, but the class looked disappointed.

Aizawa turned to the students. "See, while your mental prowess and stamina have improved, the overall strength of your quirks has not."

He gestured to Bakugo. "This proves it. In this camp, we will be focusing on improving the base power of your quirks, by pushing them to their limits over and over again."

Y/N thought to himself. How do I improve my quirk? There's no drawbacks really. Maybe how long I can store energy, but there's no way to actively train that.

Mandalay and Pixie-Bob from the day before appeared in their usual cat costumes, along with another woman that had weird buggy eyes and a huge man.

The small woman introduced herself as Ragdoll, the intimidating man speaking in a deep voice and introducing himself as Tiger.

"We all have quirks that can help us monitor and support you guys in your training at all times! Pixie-Bob is great at making training areas for you, Mandalay can use her telepathy to send messages to you all at the same time, Ragdoll can keep a track of where you are as well as point out weak spots, and Tiger's strength can be used to train physical quirks."

The class looked over the four, Y/N amused at the buff man wearing a kitty costume.

Aizawa clapped his hands, drawing the attention to him. "If you wait here, they'll send each of you to a location near here and prepare the items needed for you to train."

He reached inside his baggy outfit and pulled out a sleeping bag, unfolding it multiple times from a small square of fabric into a bag bigger than him.

"I'm going to sleep till Class 1-B gets here, someone wake me up when that happens."

The teacher crawled inside and immediately fell asleep, the four other pro heroes gazing at Aizawa with a mix of fascination and confusion.

"Okay! Let's get to it. We'll start with the easiest, all quirks that enhance physical strength or are related to a specific body part, go with Tiger!"

The heroes began splitting up the class into some basic groups, and Y/N just stood still as he realised he didn't fit into any of the categories.

Soon enough, the physical strength quirks were sent off with Tiger to his 'bootcamp', and both Asui and Aoyama were sent off to do their own exercises.

Y/N heard faint groaning and shouting start in the forest where the bootcamp was, and shuddered a bit at the thought of training with that beast of a man.

Yaoyorozu and Sato were taken to a table groaning with sweets and fatty foods, which looked pretty good to Y/N.

Ojiro and Kirishima were paired up, Shoji and Hagakure being paired as well. Koda's training was literally just to scream over and over again to 'strengthen the vocal cords'.

As their numbers dwindled, Mandalay came in front of Y/N, frowning slightly.

"We still don't know what your quirk is, and while Ragdoll's Search quirk can locate where you are, she can't identify any weak points."

Y/N clenched his teeth slightly. That Search quirk is going to be hella annoying.

There was a weird buzzing in his head, then he heard Mandalay's voice. She hadn't moved her lips though, but it was clear as day. You don't have to tell everybody, but at least tell me. We're only trying to help you improve your quirk.

Y/N nodded reluctantly, beckoning Mandalay away from the main group and walking towards the trees. He stopped when they were just inside the shadows cast by the foliage.

"So. What's your quirk?"

Y/N glared at Mandalay. "Don't tell anybody."

"Promise."

"I don't have a name for it yet, but I can drain any living object of its... I guess you would say its lifeforce?"

Mandalay nodded, listening intently, and Y/N carried on quietly.

"This gives my quirk energy, which I can use to teleport, or turn intangible. The more energy I have, the more physical stamina, speed, strength, and resistance I gain."

"I can push this energy out of my body as well. If I push it into a living being, it causes extreme pain but no physical damage. If I push it into an inanimate object, I can draw the object from any distance to my hand, and it becomes much better at the job it was meant to do."

Mandalay frowned. "Ok, I think to train you'll practise expending as much energy as possible in as quick of a time. Maybe you could drain trees for power, and then try to activate all your abilities at the same time?"

Y/N shook his head. "I can't use any abilities when I'm in my intangible form."

"Then constantly pull an object towards your hand, keeping that link, and try to run away from that same object by using short range teleports, as well as running top speed and draining trees while on the fly."

Y/N didn't see how that would help him, but he nodded, Mandalay beaming.

"I'll put you a bit further away from the class, we don't want any accidents. Practise hard, but I won't check on you for most of the day except for the end of training."

She led Y/N through the woods for a few minutes, pausing in a clearing.

"You're welcome to start now."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The day passed in a blur for all of Class 1-A, hours mixing into each other as they stretched their quirks to their very limits.

Class 1-B had joined them an hour after they'd started, their screams and moans joining their own as they pushed themselves to their limits.

The short break they'd had for lunch felt like a second. It was a few cold sandwiches, then back to work. They didn't notice one of them missing from the break, each of them worn out.

By evening, the students were aching all over, both mentally and physically fatigued. Some were better off, like Asui only hurting in her tongue, or Iida only hurting in his legs, but Bakugo's hands were leaking nitroglycerin, and Tokoyami looked like he'd been beaten up multiple times.

Mandalay gathered forty students of the two classes, counting heads before noticing one was missing.

She frowned. "Uh..." Pixie-Bob jumped in, counting the class again and gasping. "Where's Y/N?"

The class looked at each other, tiredness pushed aside for the moment, and Mandalay looked at Ragdoll. "Yeah, where is Y/N?"

The woman focused for a second, before walking towards the treeline. The classes and heroes followed, muttering amongst themselves and limping.

The four pro heroes pushed through a few trees, before freezing in utter shock at the scene on the other side.

The students filtered through, mouths agape and eyes wide as they lined up, staring at the destruction spread out in front of them.
