My brain is on overdrive
Somewhere between the jitters and the tears
With a helping hand of excitement
I feel like I'm still dreaming
Making up a happy scenario
To help sleep become more approachable
Tricking myself into dreamland
I'm sweating
My stomach is in knots
And I feel like nothing bad can happen in the world
If this one dream
This wish I've wished for
Forever
Decides to take my hand
And hold me close
Letting me go with it
Anywhere
