Hello, loves. I can't wait to finally share a piece of my mind with the rest of you again.

I don't have a particular updating schedule for TDOI yet so I write and update whenever I feel motivated.

- AMAYA'S POV -

WHAT PURPOSE DOES life fulfill? Do not panic; I have no plans to take my life. It's a genuine question.

Every day we get up, eat, work, sleep, and carry out the same routine.

The real issues affecting the world are never taught in school; Instead, students are taught how to gain money as they grow older.

To pay everything off once you've graduated college, you'll need to obtain a job. Money is earned, lost, and then gained again.

This life is like a cycle that constantly repeats itself for no purpose at all.

People grew increasingly obsessed with their wealth and power during time while ignoring huge problems like diversity and mental health.

I had to sometimes remind myself that I was a human being because no one had ever expressed concern for my mental health.

My family is wealthy, therefore I didn't have to work. But at the tender age of eight, I had to manage balancing school and accompanying my mother on missions.

Most people assume that being wealthy is delightful and that you would spend your days lounging around your mansion, letting others take care of your responsibilities. For me, it wasn't the situation.

Our mother only appears to care about her power, so even though our family possessed a lot of wealth, I was always on my own.

I realize that this is unfair at times. It's wrong that I get to enjoy a privileged life while others struggle just to be able to survive.

Equally wrong is also pressuring a teenager into doing things they don't want to do or giving them the impression as though they have to bear the weight of the world on their shoulders.

However, luxury has a price.

I regrettably belong to a so-called clan in the city where I live which is feared by other citizens. The leader of the Hayashi clan is my mother and she will do anything to keep that position.

She is aware that I will have to take charge as the role of a leader once she has to leave. But considering who she is, she would do anything to prevent that from happening.
