"so.." angelic approached me with a hopeful look shimmering in her big brown eyes. "does the wicked witch of the west have something for you to do for lunch or are you all mines?"

angelic intertwined her fingers and rocked on the heels of her feet

i was a bit taking aback at the 'are you all mines'.. she couldve worded it better but i just brushed it off

"ill go see now" i smiled lightly and stood up

its been five hours since scarlet set her rules and asked me out to dinner with her and aiden.

since then everyone has been running around like little ants who ant hill has been crushed. their scared of scarlet for some reason

angelic nod and pursed her lips as she watched me walk off

just like before i began to get nervous but this time i ignored it and knocked twice before pushing the door open

"boss—"

"cum for me" she hummed and my eyes widen

i heard a grunt come from the phone then moans before it went quiet

"good girl" scarlet smirked

"uh.. boss" i repeated a bit loudly, my voice wavering slightly

i just walked in on my boss during her call of phone sex

she glanced up before looking back to her phone

"i have to call you later. love you"

i didnt get to hear the person voice because she hung up

"yes, charlotte" her lips pulled back into a smile as she looked down my body before meeting my eyes again

i gulped. "i was wondering if you were going to need me for lunch or something?"

she looked thougtful for a second

"no.. you must be going somewhere for lunch?"

"yeah um.. angelic, my coworker, asked me out for lunch and i had to check to see if-"

"on second thought, i do need you for lunch. to bad you'll have to cancel on her" she pouted but i could see it was fake.

"wha.."

"yes yes so go cancel your little date and while you're out letting poor girl down please bring me a cup of coffee then make your way back to my office. thanks!" she gave me no chance to respond before she was putting headphones in

i blinked before backing out of the door and shutting it

i walked over to where angelic was still standing by my desk

"sorry but she needs me-"

"on your lunch break? oh come on" angelic scoffed and rolled her eyes

"yeah i know but-"

"she's such a bitch. i should go give her a piece of my mind" angelic hissed

"angelic!" i whispered shouted to get her attention. "leave it be, please. i cant go with you to lunch. we'll just rain check it for.. tomorrow?"

a soft smile graced her lips and she nod slightly. "tomorrow then"

"yes, tomorrow. okay i have to go get her a coffee but i'll see you around?"

angelic reached forward and grabbed my hand, her other going to caress my cheek as she made eye contact with my wide eyes

"okay, charlotte" she whispered.

"charlotte!" scarlet voice suddenly was heard and i quickly pulled away from angelic and cleared my throat

"yes maam?" i managed out, still a bit shocked at how angelic touched me

"coffee? stop flirting with angelic before someone looses their job" she scoffed.

my eyes widen. "yes miss"

i shot angelic — who looked very angry — an apologetic look before scurrying off to make the coffee

[trust me this wont be a love.. whatever but its not gonna be sum thin like a love triangle. Lord knows i hate those, i feel like the main character always go for the wrong one or at least the one i dont like 💆🏻‍♀️]
