aiden pov

"um.. she's not in there. only the mother. i hope i helped" the nurse smiled awkwardly before walking away

i looked at scarlet confused. "we didnt see her go and to go to the bathroom she has to pass us"

scarlet gulped. "she mustve snuck out while we were talking"

we shot to our feet

"come on, she's a grieving woman who's emotions are strong right now. we dont know what she could be doing right now" i hissed

charlotte's pov

i looked at the last pill sitting between my fingers

your doing everyone a favor considering this. is. your. fault.

the voice in my head screamed and with a tear rolling down my face, i swallowed the pill and finished the last bit of alcohol

third person pov

FLASHBACK:

after looking all over for charlotte they finally wanted to give up

they couldnt find her anywhere. not at their home, not at her's, not at either of their work places

that's the only places they knew. they didnt know where her mother, harper, or grandmother stayed

it made them realize how much they really didnt know her

scarlet fell back against the passenger seat with a sigh, a tear rolling down her pale cheek

"what the fuck" she sighed

scarlet hadnt cried in years. the last she cried was at 14 years old when she found out that her mother was staying in Asia while she was moving to America but right now, right now she felt like crying until her asshole clenched out shit

"i know. where could she be" aiden stressed, running her fingers through her messy curls. "i wish this shit never happened"

after scarlet's agreement they sat in silence trying to figure out where their lover could have possibly gone to and if she was okay

they hoped that if she wasnt okay then by the time they find her she will be okay

one of their phones started ringing interrupting their tense silence

aiden rushed to grab her phone

"turn that shit off" scarlet hissed

"hold on its a unknown ID what if its charlotte from a different phone?" aiden said aloud

"answer it!"

aiden hit the green button on her iphone and placed the call on speaker

harper's voice filled the car

"why is my grandma saying charlotte's at my mother house?! go get your crazy fucking girlfriend" harper hissed

both their eyes widen and aiden started up the car while scarlet grabbed the phone to retort to harper's comment as it had pissed her off

"you need to stop doing her like that" scarlet snapped

harper scoffed, "dont tell me how to treat my sister"

"no i will because i dont know what happened in that room but charlotte left and i swear to God if you touched her i will-"

"scarlet" aiden cut her off and shook her head

scarlet sighed

"you better not have done anything to her or your ass is mine. i dont give a fuck what anybody says. she's your sister, yes, but you both are going through the same thing. that doesnt mean you should treat her like shit. she could be hurt right now or even worse- dead then you'll be sisterless and motherless. so i advise you to pull your shit together and when you see her apologize for whatever you fucking did. you hear me?! now send over your mother address so we can go get our fucking girlfriend" scarlet hissed before hanging up the phone, not giving harper a chance to answer
