charlotte cleared her throat once everyone had removed their shoes

now we all stood in her living room just starring at each other.

i hated the fact that harper was here, she didnt deserve to be in the presence of charlotte considering she still hasnt apologized and its been a month

"oh! so scarlet and aiden this is my family..." char said awkwardly, "i know you all havent formally met each other. this is my grand mother, laurine. sister, harper. mother, bella and mom's friend, sofia. thats milton he was um harper friend before but yeah... anyway, guys meet aiden and scarlet my... uh.. my partners"

it went quiet for 2.5 seconds before 'laurine' hissed,

"partners?! what do you mean partners?! better be for school charlotte!" she pointed her cane and glared

charlotte's mouth opened to say something but was cut off

"m-mother you k-know w-what she m-mean ab-about part-partners" bella stammered and huffed in frustration when she got done. sofia softly rubbed her arm

"and i dont go to school anymore" charlotte added quietly making me chuckle

i took off my jacket and sat down beside scarlet, i placed my hand on her bouncing thigh.

soon everyone sat down too as the grand mother continued to glare at charlotte

"this is who you raised? someone who dates two people like a.. like a sl-"

"hold on because harper already did once. you are not going to call charlotte a slut because thats not what she is" scarlet snapped, glaring at her grandmother

i rubbed her thigh to help her calm down

"w-what do y-you mean?" bella stuttered, looking at me with curiosity

charlotte tried to say something but was cut off again

"dont worry about it ma. it was nothing serious" harper waved it off and gave charlotte a sharp stare

"n-no t-tell me"

"harper called charlotte a slut and said she wished she was the one that got shot instead of you whilst you were in a coma but dont look at me because i did not just snitch" scarlet blurted

everybody looked at her in silence before charlotte fell into a fit of giggles

i shook my head while smiling.

scarlet never knew how to keep that pretty mouth of hers shut

bella stood up, a angry look etched across her face.

sofia grabbed her arm and gently told her to calm down

"h-harper!" bella hissed, "you- you-"

harper looked down in shame, milton's arm went around her shoulder in what i assume was comfort. to me it just looked like he was trying to grab her left boob

"i-i cant be-believe y-you. w-why wo-" bella stopped and looked at sofia with a look saying 'finish talking for me please'

"aht aht you have to say it. it'll help you and its good for your classes too" sofia said softly

bella groaned and glared at sofia before turning that glare to harper

"why w-would you s-s-say that!"

"i was just mad ma.." harper whispered

"well i agree with her" laurine's voice popped up

"no one cares" i said bluntly

"okay okay guys lets just forget about it. um do anyone want-"

"i demand you to break up with the both of them right now!" laurine shouted, her wrinkly face shaking in anrgy. "i dont know why they would want you anyway. those thighs are to huge and your ribs are showing and your hair is just- is just a mess! your boobs are to big for your size and those hips are just in the way of everything! why would anyone want you huh?!" laurine spat

a tear rolled down charlotte's cheek and i stood up, my balled fist shaking

"you are not going to talk to her like that! i dont care about who the hell you are but im not going to let some wrinkly old bitch talk to my girlfriend like that. i dont know who raised you but you best leave and go take care of your pet dinosaur before your skelton ass be 6ft under where you belong!" i screamed

the room was quiet and i sat back down. still panting from my outburst

"okay..." milton's voice filled the silence as he stood up. "obviously this family has... issues that needs to be resolved. im going to go.... walk my fish" he dashed for the door and opened it, slamming it shut behind him

harper rolled her eyes

laurine sat with wide eyes then scoffed when no one came to her defense

"charlotte?! bella?! yall are just going to let this- this faggot talk to me like that" she hissed

bella nostrils flared

"if s-shes a f-faggot t-then so am i" bella reached up and grabbed sofia's cheek.

she pulled her down and smashed their lips together emitting gasps through out the room

laurine stood up.

"i am not going to be in a room full of gays. harper, i swear to God if you are gay i will kill-"

harper stood up and dusted off her pants. "no granny im not gay. lets go get some ice cream yeah?"

she grabbed laurine's arm, shot us a glare before walking out of the door with her grandma and slammed it shut behind her

now it was silence.

"ma-"

"ch-char-"

they spoke at the same time and giggled once realizing what they did

"you go first" char said softly

"n-no it-its going to-to- sofia p-please" she pouted

sofia sighed, "just this once. she said no its going to take a while so basically you go first"

bella grinned and so did i
