"the job was just to messy. so much drama and gossip. i love working as a fashion worker but the drama just wasnt my style" she shook her head as she dipped her fry into her ketchup

"oh" i swallowed hard, "well we miss you"

she looked at me. "we or you?"

i blushed and looked down at my food

"well what would be the difference?"

she giggled. "i-"

the bell of the door sounded and next thing i know was i was hearing "get down!"

my eyes widen. customer's started screaming as the guy in black clothing and a ski mask held up a gun

"GET DOWN!" he screamed again, his voice deep

my hands trembled as i grabbed bella's and pulled us to the floor

"this can be a nice and easy job no one will get hurt. put all the money you have in your bag, pockets, i dont care into this bucket" he shouted

he dropped a steel silver bucket on the floor with the gun still pointed making people duck in fear that they'd get shot. he kicked it to a woman in her fifties

by the time he got to me and bella tears were rolling down my cheeks.

beside me bella had no emotion on her face as if she was used to this

i patted my pockets and pulled out a twenty. it was all i had

i slid the bucket to bella

"i dont have any money" she spoke loud enough for him to hear

"what? stand up girl" he hissed

she slowly stood to her feet her hands in the air. she looked fearless

my heart pounded unhealthily fast

"what did you say? huh?" he asked, getting all in her face

"i dont have any money" she spoke loud and clear

"attitude? wrong idea bitch!" a pow rang out making everyone jump

i screamed in terror as bella fell back to the floor her head banging against the marble as no one was close enough to catch her

"shit" the guy muttered.

i heard the steel being picked up as it scraped against the floor and soon after the bell ringing but i was to focused on bella who was going unconscious to care about the feet scattering out of the shop

i cried, holding the spot right by her heart that was soaking her scrubs

"stay with me" i whispered, sniffing

the sound of sirens filled my ears and i prayed she'd make it
