01. BLACKFOREST TOWN

BlackForest is a big town situated in the northern part of Aldia State, within the state's mountains and is surrounded by thick long forest trees covered by mist.

The town receives a high amount of rainfall all throughout the year and it has good fertile soil for food production.

It is because of this that BlackForest prides itself with food security and it is one of the biggest food producing towns in the Aldia Estate.

The town is approximately 100km away from the city of Irash and It consists of over two hundred thousand population of different breeds being vampires, werewolves and witches.

BlackForest is a town that does not allow residence of human beings. They might come, visit but are soon expected to leave.

No permanent residence is allowed.

The human world does not know the existence of such beings amongst themselves since these creatures take the makeup of human genetics and are able to hide in plain sight.

If you are lucky you can befriend one and live out the rest of your life to tell the tales of such creatures.

These three factions of vampires, werewolves and witches, although they live in the same town, don't necessarily get along.

There exists a long bloodshed of a thousand years of war between them but mostly between vampires and werewolves. Witches are often in between.

To get such beasts in line and behave, a formation of the High Council was made consisting of representatives from the witches, vampires and werewolves.

They each related and dealt with issues pertaining to the governance of BlackForest.

Ruling over beings with great power and entitlement was never an easy job due to clashing interests and hatred.

Many years ago, when the supernatural gods and goddesses brought into existence the strongest beings alive, they made sure to bring forth a way to lead these 3 factions.

One individual was chosen among the 3 factions to rule and lead over them.

It is said, one had to bear the mark of a leader which consisted of vampire canine teeth, the luna moon for the wolves and magic wand for the witches.

When the mark appeared, the luna moon was centred in between the two front canine teeth, whilst the magic wand was located beneath it.

It is said that when the leader mark appears it causes excruciating pain that leaves you at bed rest for a week.

This was because the leader mark was said to be bonding with your mind, soul and body.

All on its own, the leader mark has its own qualities and powers and as a supernatural being bearing the mark, your powers were heightened.

That is, you had faster reaction time, faster hearing, faster speed, and high peak fighting skills than that of the normal creature.

The leader mark was one of the highest mark forms a supernatural being could ever get.

By bearing the leader's mark, it meant one had been chosen by the gods and goddess of the supernatural realm to lead and guide the three factions.

Each and every member belonging to these factions was bound to bow down, respect, obey and acknowledge the leader's presence  no matter if they were vampires, werewolves or witches.

The last time the leader mark appeared in BlackForest town was over eighty years ago and since then, the High Council has been the one delegating and ruling over BlackForest town.
