"Deku, I think it's time we talk."

I turn to face him, my face emotionless, I turn back to Rumi and quickly spoke to her.

"I'll meet you back at the entrance." I send a sweet smile and hear her mutter an agreement as I turn to walk towards him.

What does he want to say? What do I want to say? Has he changed?

Questions filled my mind as I followed him to the side of a building, resting against a bench.

"Izuku." He froze for a moment, why has he called me that? "I know that I have done a lot of wrong but how are you alive?"

I send him a questioning gaze.

He catches on and speaks up. "Auntie, she said that you had died, years ago when we were both 11, we had a funeral for you, so how the hell are you still alive?" His voice growing louder by the word, angrier by the word, as if accusing me that I'm not me.

"I never died, I simply ran away." I pause, wondering how he would respond. "I knew that being there, living with her, I wouldn't be able to live. I wouldn't be able to become a hero. It didn't help that everyone I knew turned there backs on me when I needed it." He flinches. Good. Maybe he does feel bad, but nothing changes until I hear it from him.

"I see." His eyes soften.

"I only got to start living once I got a new life, once I found people who looked after me, once I found her." I felt myself glare at him, preparing for the worst. "And I won't let anyone ruin what I've got, not even you."

He looks shaken up, not used to what I've become, what I am. He slowly bends down, getting on his knees with his head near the floor.

"I might not deserve your forgiveness, but I hope one day you'll forgive me and accept my apology so that one day, you can count on my to help look after you," his eyes start tearing up but he quickly wipes them away. "I'm sorry."

"Ok." I turn away. "I said to myself that nothing would change, nothing would happen between us unless I've seen you change and ask for forgiveness, and you have so I forgive you."

Katsuki lays still on the ground as I walk away and hear a single 'thank you' as a tear hits the floor.

April 15th 2250

I'm currently at Rumi's house, sitting on her bed, waiting for the UA letter. The place I live is too run down for pro heroes to know about, and if they knew it wouldn't be long before they kick me out to 'keep me safe' as they would say, so I said I live at Rumi's.

Soon the doorbell rings and I go to grab the letter, once I open the door I see Eraser with two letters and grab them once he passes them over and mutter a quick 'thanks' and 'see ya on patrol' before shutting the door, turning back towards Rumi and once I hand her the letter she bolts back to her room while I stood in silence, wondering what I should do as I took a seat in the living room.

Quickly ripping open the letter, a projection falls out, revealing a pre-recorded message from Nezu.

"Congratulations izuku, you have passed the theoretical exam by 98% and got 86 Villian points in the physical exam, leaving you in first place, however you also got another 50 hero points from saving other examiners giving you 136 points in total. This means that you will be the student year rep and will have to give speeches at events such as the sports festival. Good luck, and welcome to your hero academia." Nezu finishes with his paws in the air as the projection ends.

I read the letter and found out I was in class 1A and that my teacher was Shota Aizawa.

It didn't take long before Rumi came rushing in to the room, bouncing with joy.
