Two days later, you're standing outside of the tower with Tony, Thor, Steve and Nat.
"Where is Mischief?" Tony checks his watch.
You shake your head and adjust your bag on your arm, "How can the one who can literally TELEPORT down here, be late?"
"I knew you missed me, dove." The main door slides open and a man walks out.
You all turn around, "Loki?" Thor asks with his arms crossed.
"In the flesh. Well....sort of," Loki shrugs, a bag flung over his shoulder as well.
All of you take-in Loki's appearance, which now consists of short chestnut-blond hair and human clothing. The only tell-tale 'Loki' similarity, is his eyes.
"Not a bad look for you, Loki. You almost look....normal," Nat jokes.
"On the outside maybe," you roll your eyes and look to Tony. "Anything else?"
Loki raises an eyebrow with a smirk as he walks closer to you and the car, "Eager to get me alone already?"
You silently cackle, "Oh yes. I'm REALLY trying to restrain from throwing myself at you right now."
"I can see it in your eyes that you are," he winks at you.
"You're seeing the look of me plotting my evil plan against you," you toss your bag into the trunk.
Loki does the same and then opens your door, "Tempting me with a good time?"
The driver closes the door once Loki is in and pulls away.
"Should we be worried?" Steve asks as he watches your car leave with the rest of the group back at the tower.

Thank God the car ride goes quick. Or, pretty much thank God for earbuds and a playlist on your phone. Part of you was hoping Tony might take a hint, but of course your seat on the plane is right next to Loki's.
"Do try and control yourself, being in such close proximity to me for the next few hours," Loki shifts in his seat, his knees practically touching the seat in the next row.
Instead of looking at Loki, you take the safety book from the back of the chair in front of you, and whack Loki in the head.
"Hey!" he turns to you.
You examine the book, "Huh. Thought that would have deflated your big head." You raise your arm to try again.
"Ok, enough!" Loki says more demanding. "Gods, you are infuriating."
"Good," you put your earbuds back in and sit in silence for the remainder of the flight.
------------------------------------------------------------
When you walk out of the airport, there's a car waiting with a sign saying 'Cassidy Potts'.
Loki looks at you with a frown.
"Incognito. My version of a second identity," you start walking to the car.
You climb into it and Loki follows behind. Then he holds out his hand, "Jonathan Sharpe."
You shake your head and laugh once, but shake his hand anyway, "Let's see if you're more tolerable than Loki."
"Never," the corner of Loki's mouth curls up into a grin.
Thankfully, the ride is only about 20 minutes. You've taken this drive almost a dozen times, maybe a bit more. You've been staring out the window, watching the tourist shops and restaurant pass by.
"Almost there," the driver explains to you and Loki.
You offer a small smile as you take your earbuds out. When you take another quick look in the window, you have to do a double take. You notice a motorcycle coming up behind, and then it quickly passes the car. Once it's out of view, you release a breath and begin to relax more, after having tensed up. You clench and unclench your hands in your lap, not realizing that Loki has noticed it all.
