Author's Note: Merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate, and the happiest of holidays to everyone in general! The goal is 1,000 followers by 2023, but my appreciation for each and every one of you is as immense as always! Here is a little fluff xx
Your room is a few doors down the hall, and the sounds of those still in the main room becomes muffled as you walk.
Loki has been silent the entire way next to you, until you make it to your door, "Right. Well, if you are feeli..."
You shake your head, "Nope. Not now." You open your door and yank Loki inside. Easily.
Once he stumbles in behind you, you close your door once more, "What was that for? You're getting stronger!"
You hear what Loki says, but there's only one thing on your mind right now, "Now I can ACTUALLY thank you." You slowly start walking up to Loki.
His head tilts slightly, "You already said thank yo..."
Before Loki can finish, you lean onto your toes and lightly kiss him.
And just when you're about to pull away, Loki deepens the kiss, holding you as close to him as possible.
You rest your head under Loki's chin a few seconds later, breathless, "I wanted nothing more than to just kiss you out there, in front of every. Single. Person."
You feel Loki's laugh on top of your head, and he tilts your head back to his, "Do kiss me whenever....and wherever you fancy, darling."
"Same goes for you...darling," you smirk and mock, before brushing your lips to Loki's again. "What did Heimdall say?" you ask sitting on your bed.
Loki swallows, "A...a lot actually."
You look-up after kicking off your shoes, "Ok...so you got your answers then?"
Loki nods twice, "Yes. Everything...makes more sense now."
You scoot back and lay back against your headboard, internally nervous, "Well, that's good, yes?"
"It is, yes. It is just..." Loki shifts back and forth on his feet, pausing a few seconds. "You...are tired. We will discuss this tomorrow," he walks to your door.
You bend forward, "Loki."
He turns back around.
"Stay," you say as more of a command, but are plagued by the thought of Loki saying no.
Loki's eyes travel the length of your bed, "If you would like me to."
"I would, but if you don't wish to..." your finger nail digs into your palm.
He's at your bed in two steps, "Let one thing be clear. I ache to be around you. Stay with you. Every moment of every day. In every breath I take."
Your throat dries at Loki's words, and your left sitting speechless.
"I am fighting myself, quite literally, for control around you, because you need to know everything before I..." Loki looks to his feet as he speaks.
You stand from your bed, and take one of his hands in yours when he balls his fists, "Hey. Look at me."
Loki's fist relaxes into your hand but he still doesn't look at you, "It's not...."
Your thumb rubbing circles on the back of his hand allows Loki to slowly take deep breaths.
"I will always stay," he says as more of a whisper.
You kiss Loki's cheek this time, "Good." You release his hand, only to climb back into your bed, pulling back the other side of the blanket.
Loki walks around to the other side and sits on the edge, "Are you sure you would not rather have me on the couch?"
"It's a King Size bed, Loki. We can both fit," you stretch out and get more comfortable.
He moves his leg onto the bed with a frown on his features, "Has a King slept here before?"
It takes you a moment to realize what he's talking about, "Wha...? No, it's just a name for the size of a bed. There's also Queen, Twin, Full." You notice the frown remain on Loki's face, "What do you call them on Asgard?"
His eyebrows slightly raise, "Beds."
You roll your eyes, "Very descriptive for Gods."
Loki's frown disappears, "I guess I will simply have to show you when I take you to Asgard."
He winks and turns over before you can respond, and there's not another word spoken from Loki, but you know he has a grin of pride facing the other direction.
---------------------------------
As much as you wanted to protest, sleep and exhaustion won over, and you fell asleep almost instantly.
When you wake-up, the 'barrier' that Loki put up last night has been broken down, and once again, your legs are tangled in Loki's, with your arm over his torso, and his arm looped over yours.
You try to adjust ever so slightly, which causes Loki to hold you tighter to him, "Stay."
"Stealing my words," you raise an eyebrow, looking up at Loki, who still has his eyes closed. "And what if I manage to get away?"
Loki opens one eye, "Oh I do love games. Try with all of your might, my Impossible Mortal, but I will always get you."
"And how do you plan on doing that?" you push Loki's buttons even more.
"Well," now he smirks with both eyes open. "At this moment, it is quite easy."
"Is that s..?" Loki rolls on top of you, pinning you down. "Hey!"
"And I did not even require magic for this," Loki lightly drops completely onto you. "And now, you are stuck."
"Am I?" you wrap your legs around Loki's knees, and flip him over. "Appears that is you. Now, start talking before I get Mjolnir in here."
Loki's face turns serious as his palms rest on your thighs, "Y/N..."
You slowly reach out one of your arms and open your hand, just for Loki to pull it back down to your side.
"I want to. And I will tell you. However, you must first be of full mind to understand all that accompanies your choice. Which," he lifts you off of him. "Also means of full stomach."
You groan, but still get out of bed, "Ok, but only because you said food."
"So all I have to mention is food, and everything is better?" Loki uses his magic to change both of your clothing for the day.
"94% of the time, yes," you tuck in the front of the dark-green shirt into your jeans.
