"You will never be able to control sand, no one can ever control me!"; were the last and final words that had escaped from the red haired criminal who succumbed into the curse and punishment that was bestowed on him by the fair judgement of Ennead. Seth's eyes turned black, his red pools disappearing completely. Black smoke purged into the suffering deity's body, his left hand was marked ruthlessly by the curse. In a matter of time, Seth's entire body was covered in dark smoke-weirdly unlike the other times when he was suffering due to the punishment, he neither screamed in agony nor did he try to survive; he simply let go of everything and accepted everything with open arms. He closed his kohl eyes for the last time without casting any other glance to anyone present there.
"Uncle no!" the Falcon god spread his wings and clawed at the restraints that were tightly binding him. "Uncle please! Snap out of it! Uncle!"
"No Seth!" The god of the underworld, Osiris tried to reach out but his efforts were in vain as he was pushed back with great force by the black smoke. Anubis simply stood there, like a statue, his eyes widened as he remained glued to the ground as a mere spectator; his emotions in a turmoil—a strange dilemma plagued his heart and mind. Such things never happened to him ever since he opened his eyes in the underworld. He had a terrible yearning to save the strange red haired man, who upon their first encounter had looked at him with such affectionate, loving and caring eyes, that he had mistaken him for his past lover; which later turned out to be wrong; yet Anubis couldn't act what his ever silent heart is screaming him to do for he only adheres to his father-Osiris' orders. His father was pushed back by the mysterious cursed whirpool, he was supposed to aid and support him to stand up, but he didn't because for some strange reason his eyes were glued to the dark vortex.
Upon Osiris' powers weakened, the falcon god quickly freed himself from his father's restraints and tried to approach his Uncle but he too, was pushed back but he didn't give up. He tried to enter into the whirlpool of black smoke but was pushed back every time yet the distance from where he was pushed back started to decrease gradually and eventually he was able to enter into the black whirlpool surprising Osiris to a great extent.
However by the time, Horus had reached his uncle's body, it has already turned entirely black-his once vibrant red hair didn't exist anymore, neither did his expressive red pupils. His body was entirely charred and when Horus tried to hold his uncle's fragile burnt body, it broke into millions of pieces and turned to dust.
What Horus didn't do ever since he was born, he did at present, for someone who was supposed to be his rival, whom he was supposed to kill.
Horus cried.
He cried like anything, he cried his heart out. Tears poured out of his eyes without any resistance as his pitiful cries echoed the depths of underworld. He clenched his fists that were full of charred ashes of Seth.
They were the only last remains-the rest had turned to dust.
