Confrontations part 2

The ones who were present during the trial gasped along with Isis who clasped her mouth as her eyes widened in fear. An eerie silence prevailed among the ones present there. Ra cackled with all her might, slapping her knee in glee as if she had witnessed the most farcical thing in her entire life. Isis took two steps back holding her mouth. 

Seth had a rare smile on his lips. But that smile was a sad one. Conflicting emotions had been raging within him ever since he took the lead of the trial. He wondered that why he felt like forgiving Isis and Osiris in one hand and on the other hand he felt like avenging Reijin's death and his past humiliation. It's funny that how despite being with his siblings for most part of his life, he doesn't feel anything for them even if it means destroying Isis and Osiris' marriage and painting Isis as a liar and Osiris as a sociopath, rapist while he was with Reijin for a short amount of time and after her death he felt as if he lost something very precious. He caught hold of both Anubis and Horus in the audience's stand. both of their expressions were unreadable. 

Horus felt numb. Nothing else. He just felt numb. He wasn't sure about Anubis nor did he dare to look at him. At present he is seeing the love of his life in a new light. Not the weeping, full of guilt Seth who begged for forgiveness from him when he was a child mistaking him as Anubis, not the K-pop star Park Ryujin who sang to his heart's content to bring happiness to people nor as the God of War Seth who fought with him tooth and nail for the throne of Egypt. This Seth is different. This Seth is new.

Few minutes before, after the unexpected arrival of her husband, Isis was about to go to her husband but was stopped by Ra, who raised her leg to stop the anxious regent of Egypt. Isis looked at Ra questioningly, wondering why she stopped her.

"..Why did you stop, Seth? What did I do?" Osiris stepped forward towards him making the red haired god take a step back instinctively. "Was confessing feelings wrong?" He made a pitiful face. "Is that why you chopped me off and neglected Anubis for years?" Once again, gasps and murmurs resumed from the deities seated.

Seth felt right eye twitch in annoyance and stared at Osiris in somewhat of a disbelief. If this guy were born in 21st century timeline, he'd have surely made a name as a great actor, maybe could've even won the highest award of the entire international entertainment industry for playing the role of most annoying villain. He had a great way of twisting things to make them go in his own way.

"You rudely interrupted the trial and literally came unannounced so of course I was taken aback." Osiris folded his hands raising his eyebrows challenging Seth that irked the latter even more. He wanted to punch off that smug look from Osiris' face.

"...and he raped me. Yes. He paralyzed me with some kind of weird stuff he invented and raped me. Unbelievable, right? Yep even I couldn't believe that my own brother would pull this kind of shit on me." There were gasps and murmurs associated with looks disbelief and mockery. "And then this son of a--I mean this fucking bastard says that he did all those to me because he has feelings for me? What feelings? You and I, both are married men it was you who betrayed me first by sleeping with my wife and now you give me those feelings bullshit!? And it was you who confessed and it was I who rejected you, I still reject you and yet like some fucking creepy stalker pest you keep crawling back at me. If you truly loved me, you would have never raped me." Two seconds after Seth has finished, loud shouts and hollers erupted from the deities who had mixed reactions about this. Isis stood stone cold, Ra smirked and Osiris looked at Seth in disbelief as if he never expected him to be vocal about that night.
