"Everybody hates him yet you're the only one who wants to take this job."
"Perspectives vary from people to people. The one who is deemed as enemy may be somebody's savior and that tag of 'villain' might be pre-planned tag."
"All of this for just a fruit..?"
"Oh no not just a fruit but also for being saved from human trafficking..."
"Yet in the end you died in the hands of his followers.."
Silence ensued from the other side.
"That was my fate. I was meant to die anyway without food, he simply delayed my death, unconsciously."
"Hmm."
"That's why! Goddess Ra! I implore you to give me responsibility!"
Once again, pin drop silence prevailed.
Finally, Ra smiled. "Maybe you're right. You are the perfect candidate for this job. After all, Egypt cannot remain without the god of war for long..~"
At present, Goddess Ra smiled as she remembered the conversation between her and a little soul of a child who was quite unique in nature to the point of daring to request an audience with her. Ra doesn't know how the child soul got to know about her plan and why it offered to help her, she merely allowed it because it'd provide her some form of entertainment to her boring, bright life. As a flimsy part of Park Reijin's soul floated away without any of the god's notice, before it was about to get dissolved into the depth of eternal sand of Egypt, Ra caught hold of it.
"You did a good job in amusing me. Now its time for me to reward you."
The chaos that continued in the Duat between the two gods--one the god of fertility and another the god of war, shook the entire Egypt including the palace of the then ruler of Egypt; Isis. She and Nephthys stumbled around unable to stand still, cracks climbed the high walls of the palace including the temples of the gods where the trembling figures of human beings prayed with all their heart fearfully. Even Isis' magic was unable to prevent the consequences that were brought by the sudden quake of the ground.
Isis, upon seeing the Goddess of Destruction, Sekhmet, smiling while dangling her legs from the window of her palace, didn't take it long to understand the reason why this Goddess started to live at her palace all of a sudden. Everything fell into pieces now. Why the sun shone brighter and longer than ever, why her magic was unable to provide any location of her son, why she was unable to meet up with her husband every time she travelled to their meeting location on the bank of the Nile river. Isis didn't waste another second before she directed the magic at Sekhmet. Sekhmet, unprepared of the sudden attack was taken aback but soon she avoided the next attack, her smile coming back to her half covered face.
"Figured out too soon I see Isis....or should I say too late?" She dodged another attack.
"Shut up and spill what you have done to my son, Sekhmet!" Isis roared, her eyes glowing.
"Your son? Horus? I did not do anything! He did everything on his own." Sekhmet cackled. "He's a big boy now Isis!"
"Hey little guy, I see you are a big boy now, not a lil one anymore, eh?" A lion head dress clad woman sat perched on the window of the room where the groom, the falcon demi god, Horus sat, decorated in his mother's selected groom's attire. He didn't say anything.
"I know who you long for---" This earned a flinch from the demi god that made the Goddess of destruction smile, she contorted her facial expression, "----and I might know where the person is---" Within seconds the groom stood in front of her, his blue irises glowing under his falcon head gear.
'They resemble that of Isis...but more intense.'
"Where?" The groom's lips moved.
"I am telling you~ I am telling you~ Gosh you are so impatient~" Sekhmet perched off from the window and walked around the room. Isis put quite an effort in decorating the room. So did Hathor, in her bridal attire, well, that's the perk of being the Goddess of love and beauty. Hathor is glowing today, Isis too seemed proud--after all both of their wishes will come true today. Hathor will finally have her dream man and Isis will have her son as the ruler of Egypt along with his ascension to complete god-hood.
Little did they know that all their dreams and aspirations will be going down the drain very soon.
Sekhmet turned around with her lopsided smile as she opened her mouth to give a push to the stagnant wheel of fate.
