AN:/ DOUBLE UPDATES! ENJOY!
I SWEAR THE NEXT CHAPTER WILL BE THE LAST ONE WITH A SIDE STORY >.<

Isis' hands stopped trembling, she became deathly calm, her eyes half lidded, she spoke; "I hated you Seth. From the bottom of my heart I hated you. The worst form of betrayal came from you of all people. You were the reason I and Osiris became apart, you were the reason why he cheated on me, you are the reason why my son eloped from his wedding two time. YOU ARE THE REASON OF MY MISERY!"

Seth replied in a very calm voice; "No Isis. I am not." His voice shook a bit as he felt tears clogging his eyes and choking his voice. He forcefully kept them down. "I-I never asked Osiris to rape me, I never asked Osiris to develop feeling or whatever shit towards me, I NEVER asked Horus to love me, heck I wasn't even there when you tried to marry him off! So what makes you think that all of your misery is my fault?!" His chest felt tight, he took a deep breath. This is way more difficult than me imagined, but he must do this, end everything once and for all so that Park Reijin's death do not go in vain.

He had to settle this nasty conflict forever. And he must do it alone. It is his war.

"Yes, yes I killed several humans, I admit that, my followers slaughtered several and made a blood bath in Egypt. I committed several sinful acts, I admit it. But to atone for that sin, when I travelled to another universe, I did my best to spread happiness and bring smiles among people." The faces of his beloved band members appeared in his memory. Despite re-ascending to god-hood, he still retained the memories of that universe. "Therefore Isis, you cannot blame ME entirely for your misfortune. If hadn't run away that night, maybe....maybe we wouldn't have turned out like this."

Mixed feelings started to brew amongst the deities present over there. The trial area was an anti-power, anti-lie place where only truth shall prevail. This trial arena was designed by Goddess Ra personally. So whatever Seth have spoken is nothing but the truth, whereas Isis and Osiris have done nothing but lied and blamed the victim all this time, fooling other fellow deities and gaining their sympathy, painting the God Of War as a villain.

"I-I tried to save my marriage....am I not allowed to do that even?"

"At the cost of fooling everyone, manipulating the trial and punishing the villain + victim himself? Maybe the villain part was worth it, but what about the victim part? You kept your silence all this time despite being a witness which hereby proves that you support rape and the sexual assault of all those women who faced the same situation as me by my followers?"

"No!"

"Unfortunately your actions are quite contrary to what you speak, dear sister. It's quite funny Isis that you have considered me the villain all this time, blatantly believed that I seduced your husband even after witnessing everything. That's all oh wise Goddess Maat. I request your judgement."

Maat didn't know what to do. For the first time ever since coming into existence, she has never faced such dilemma before. Her knowledge and wisdom are failing her. Unsure of what to do, she looked at Ra, who had a pleasant expression on her face. A sated face that delivered the message that she is extremely pleased with what happened in this arena. Ra too looked at the troubled expression of the Goddess of wisdom and decided to take charge. She stood up from her grand chair and delivered the final judgement.

"Upon listening to the entire story of both the sides after so many years later, I have come to the judgement of punishing the deity who was in the wrong and redeem what was done wrong previously—"

"No you can't Ra—"

"You are not the queen anymore—"

"Why are you doing this? You're taking sides! Judge—"

"Hush now my children. You had plenty of time to speak." Ra spoke sharply. "This is the most complicated and amusing case I've ever come across, not just me even Goddess of Wisdom Maat herself and therefore she transferred the power to wield judgement in this trial to me." Isis looked up with her emotionless eyes to Maat to which the latter averted her eyes. "Therefore I'll declare the final verdict."

"Based upon the truthful accounts from both the sides, I have decided on the punishments of the actual perpetrators." Ra looked at the fuming Osiris who was somewhat nervous about the verdict. "I punish you with life time rule and administration of Duat, managing the souls of dead for an eternity, never ever to return to the land of living anymore," She smiled devilishly; "even in any other universe or in future." No sooner did the verdict was announced, Osiris felt a pain shot in his body as viridescent flames began to burn his body, erasing his existence from the land of living forever. He hoped that his wife would come running to him as she always did, but all he saw was the motionless, hunched back of Isis that seemed very weary and tired of enduring everything all alone. He called to his wife but was rejected with silence from her side. He tried to call for Horus and Anubis but both were not be seen in the audience's stand. Seth too, didn't bother to spare a glance at him anymore, everybody's eyes were fixed on the sun Goddess.

"As for Isis, the Goddess of Magic and the regent of Egypt, for the crime of lying and manipulating the previous trial, I hereby sentence you an eternal separation from your husband. While you may still retain the position of regent of Egypt but that's just what you'll be. Since the marriage of your son Horus..." Isis' ears perked up at the mention of marriage and she looked up to the voluptuous woman; ".........with Goddess of beauty Hathor was conducted under the influence of underhanded methods, therefore on the authority of the creator of the world, I terminate such union."

"NO RA YOU CANNOT DO THIS! MARRIAGE IS A PRIVATE MATTER, YOU CANN—" A luminous magic circle opened underneath a screaming, hysterical Isis; Ra simply smiled her usual; "I'll leave it up to you of how you'd break this news to Hathor then."

"Well then that remains just you, Seth." Ra finally fixed her gaze at Seth. The red haired man stood in his Egyptian god attire minus the head gear but this Seth is completely different from the Seth in the previous trial. Ra doesn't know what changed the god of war, if it was Park Reijin's death or living a complete another universe. Whichever it is, it did good to him than bad.

"Having spread happiness and smile among the human beings of other universe, I hereby withdraw the punishment and curse that was levied on you and so I return you, your godhood." Seth experienced a jolt of energy running amok in his body, all the scars that he received whilst battling against Osiris, the marks of disobeying the curse on his arms for using his powers disappeared without a trace. His head gear and weapon were also back. Ra wasn't finished yet. "Should Seth, the God of War cause any anarchy again shall be punished on proven grounds and would be stripped off his powers forever."

When Seth came out of the trial arena, he found Horus waiting for him. Both the men exchanged no words as they hugged each other tightly, allowing tears flow down from their eyes, baring each other's weakness naked in front of them.
