The Comeback

Embarrassment would be an understatement for Ryujin—he felt like slapping himself, if that is not enough, he'd love to dig a hole and hide in there. Anything to prevent from the unwanted awkwardness that made him hard to breathe the air in the car. He wished to rewind back time to stop his curious soul...

Unfortunately, such awkwardness emanated from him only as he saw his bodyguard chatting happily with Mrs.Lee and his fellow band members occasionally joining them, including their necessary inputs whenever feasible. Ryujin was quite surprised to see his bandmates warming up so quickly to the new bodyguard-Horus when in actuality all of them are quite introvert and never familiarized with any new employee so quickly. This Horus guy has an unique charm about him that makes him likable. Today, the long term vacation of S4We has come to an end. Now they must get back to their daily, routine and scheduled idol lives. The time is ripe for the band to make a comeback after a long hiatus. At present they are on their way to a music countdown show for the promotion of their new song 'Ennead', which was for the first time shot in real location, that is, in Egypt— there was no usage of green screen and it is the most high budget music video that was ever shot.

After being caught by Reijin in an embarrassing posture two days ago, Ryujin couldn't make himself comfortable around the new bodyguard. He always remained on edge, avoided him like plague; though it was not his intention to do so, but he couldn't help but feel ashamed as how he thought that Horus' lips seemed extremely kissable at that moment and how had it not been for Reijin, both of them would have actually kissed. Come to think of it, is Horus queer? If he is not, then he has no reason to...........

"Oi Ryujin! Ya!.."

Ryujin was tore out of his thoughts by Brian who was repeatedly calling him. For few seconds, Ryujin stared like a fool at him but then he realized that he was asked to come out of the car as they had already reached the venue, so he scrambled out of the car, flashed some awkward apologetic smiles and bows at the staffs and in-charges as he and Brian scurried after the other band mates who were already waiting in front of the elevator.

When the elevator of a 30 floored building dinged open at the 20th floor, a pair of heels clacked along the quiet hallway. Her appearance included her raging red mane to be tightly secured into a high bun, a rimless spectacles, a loose pant accompanied with a while shirt tucked neatly into the pants. Her white coat of doctor sitting inside her handbag along with some other necessities inside it. Today she didn't have that many patients so her work ended early. Her brother won't be coming home anytime soon given that he'll be having a tight schedule from now on. However, when the woman was about to open the door of her apartment, she felt an unknown shiver and weird goosebumps that spread all over her body. Immediately all her senses became alert as she predicted that something must be wrong within the apartment. She slowly opened the door but did not go in. Although it was pitch black inside the apartment, the red haired woman did not take any risk but decided to speculate the condition by turning on the flashlight of her mobile.

True to her guess, the entire living room was littered with red, slim petals of a very familiar flower. Her memories served the origin of those flowers in the hands of a smiling green bodied man along with the events that unfolded later on in that night. She felt nauseous and claustrophobic at that moment. Park Reijin staggered away from the threshold of her apartment as unwanted memories started to crawl inside her head. There's no way she could go inside in that state, who knows what else is in store for her after she steps in? In fact her legs wouldn't allow her to proceed any further. She slid down the opposite wall of the corridor and sat on her heels on the floor taking deep breaths to calm herself, to not allow the tears that were prickling at the corner of her eyes to fall down. She doesn't want to cry anymore, she had cried enough.

After she had calmed down, she shakily took out her phone to dial the number of the housekeeping staff of the apartment complex. Whilst she waited for the call to be responded from the other side, at the back of her mind, she sighed in relief that the mortal nemesis didn't know exactly about her brother's location. Had he knew, he wouldn't have attacked over and over again in the apartment. Now that Horus has become the bodyguard of Seth, maybe she can trust the demi-god a bit; but then again there are some places where neither she nor the demi god can reach.

At that time...if such time arrives...it'd be up to Seth to remain strong and brave enough to defend and protect himself...

Park Reijin exhaled a shaky breath and prayed that such day must never arrive. Little did she know that such a formidable time is to arrive sooner than she had expected.....

Contrary to her prayers, a hooded figure cast his dark gaze at the giant screen that was newly erected in front of Times Square Mall at the heart of the city of Seoul, where the comeback episode of S4We in the popular music countdown show is being telecasted. Park Ryujin's expressive face and voice and dance moves along with his band members erupted loud cheers and squeals among the fans who had accumulated in front of the giant screen. However, their joy and fun were disrupted when the screen suddenly went blank.

The hooded shadow moved away and it remained unnoticed by the shocked and surprised WeiWeis that a dry branch of a tree had damaged the circuit of the giant screen.
