Tobias stared in awe as he looked around Rosalie's studio.
Her paintings were amazing.
She stood near the door frame with Ren as they watched Tobias explore the room.
"I wish I could show her all of this." He whispered to himself, not knowing that in that house, there weren't any secrets able to be kept.
Ren and Rosalie looked at each other, confused for a second before deciding that maybe he meant his mother; perhaps she loved art just as much as he did.
He stopped in front of a painting of Lucine. It was like the one he painted of her on the cliff except her face was more visible. Her smile was brighter and her eyes held the stars.
"She's beautiful, isn't she?" He heard Rosalie say as she walked up next to him, Ren coming to stand at his other side. He nodded.
"Yeah, every painting I've seen of her is probably more beautiful than the last." He said, talking about both the painting and the girl in them.
"She's my muse, the love of my life. Without her, I wouldn't have realized what true love was." She said, thinking back at her lover. As the words left her mouth, he wanted nothing but to tell her the truth. Tell her that Lucine lived in his conscience and that she loves her, that she misses her.
But, she knew that Lucine would never forgive her and he couldn't live with himself if he lost her trust.
"I see why, I wish to find a muse one day." He confessed, looking over at Ren for a second, their pinkies brushing each other slightly. It didn't go unnoticed by Rosalie either, making her smile slightly at a young spark.
"Trust me, sometimes you'll find your muse hidden right in front of you." Hinting at something, or someone, hoping he won't make the same mistake she made with Lucine. She'd been in love long enough and had made too many mistakes, missed too much time, to know when someone cares about someone else the way she did for Lucine.
She made a mental note to talk to Ren about this later.
Tobias shrugged, linking his pinky with Ren's, still looking at the painting.
"Maybe."

They walked into the kitchen to find everyone laughing at something Emmett said.
"What are we laughing at?" Rosalie asked with a smile as she went to sit next to Emmett. Edward shook his head, trying to find contain his laughter.
"Nope, you had to be here for it." He said before going back to laughing with everyone as Rosalie jokingly rolled her eyes. "How was the studio?" Meloria asked her son, finally able to contain her laughter.
He took a set with Ren as she grabbed water bottles for both of them.
He smiled as he nodded, "I liked it. Rosalie's paintings are amazing." He said, making Rosalie feel happy from his compliments. "Thanks kid, next time you come over you should bring some of your paintings. I wanna see the works of art my niece can't stop gushing over." She said, making Ren blush at the fact that her aunt had just exposed her.
Tobias chuckled, "Yeah, I'll bring one over next time. It'd be great to get feedback from a master." He said, making Rosalie smile at the recognition.
Meloria looked at her watch, realizing how late they had stayed. She sighed as she put her cup of wine down.
"It's pretty late now and we wouldn't want to over-stay our visit." She says as she starts standing up. Alice shakes her head, "Don't worry about it. We have a guest room you two could stay in. Plus, you have been drinking, and driving intoxicated around here isn't safe." Meloria thought about it for a second before agreeing.
