Lucine stood in her's and Rosalie bedroom inside their home. The one Rosalie brought her to the same day after they reunited.
She loved their home.
Rosalie's painting adorned the walls as pictures of them and their families littered any open space.
Lucine ran her finger lightly over her wedding dress. They'd already seen each other in their dresses considering they bought them together.
She got a long-sleeve dress while her soon-to-be-wife got a, more full, off-the-shoulder dress. She almost burst out into tears the second she saw her walk out in it.
She couldn't wait for the big day tomorrow.
Lucine was so distracted she didn't notice Rosalie walk into the room. Rosalie wrapped her arms around her fiancé's waist, leaning her chin on her shoulder. "I can't wait to you see in that dress tomorrow." She whispered, making Lucine giggle slightly from the warm air against her ear.
"You've already seen me in it." Rosalie shrugged. "Yeah, but this time I'll be seeing you walking down the aisle in it. Different context." Lucine just nodded, understanding what her lover meant.
"I'm excited to be your wife." If Rosalie's heart could beat, it'd be fluttering at those words.
She buried her face in the croak of Lucine's neck. Her cold skin cooled Lucine's flushed skin as she leaned against Rosalie's hold.
"No more excited than I am." She said into her neck.
Lucine took the moment to look at when in the mirror, searing the image into her brain.
Before either of them could say anything more, a knack came from the front door. Rosalie immediately stood up straight, sensing who it was.
"Did you call them?" She asked her fiancé. Lucine looked at her confused as to who she was talking about. Neither of them was expecting anyone. Especially not at this hour.
"Call who?" Rosalie looked at her for a second before zooming to get to the front door. Lucine followed her, curious as to who it could be.
"Who-" But before she could finish her question, she heard a voice she never thought she'd hear again.
Aro.
Her brothers were here.
"Lucine." He spoke as if he were breathless at the sight of his—yet again—dead sister.
She looked at them in shock before Caius lost patience and barged in, pulling her into an embrace.
"I- I didn't know you guys would come." She stuttered once her brother finally let her go. Marcus smiled down at her as they finally walked fully into the home.
"A certain pixy called us to let us know." He responded. Lucine couldn't be happier to see them. Especially considering the last two times they saw each other, she died in their presence.
It'll be nice for them to see her in a happier light.
"I'll give you all some time to talk." Lucine looked back at her fiancé as she walked towards the front door. "Where are you going?" Rosalie gave her a sweet smile.
"To help the pixy with last-minute wedding stuff. Don't worry, I'll be back before you go to sleep." Lucine was only able to give her a nod and smile before she was off toward her family home.
Lucine turned back to face her brothers as she stood in a semi-circle in front of her.
"You look older," Aro commented as he noticed how similar in age she looked to them now.
