Tobias, cautiously, walked over to her. His body felt drained and blood was dripping from the corner of his eyes and his nose.
"How is this possible?" He asked her as they stood face to face outside of his own reality. She shrugged, "That part got lost. You reincarnated before you told me that part and by the time your human body was old enough to handle my presence, you had already forgotten who you were." She said as she studied him.
He looked older in the outside world. In his consciousness, he kept himself as a little boy no older than ten.
"I'm so sorry, Lucine. I've robbed you of your rest." He apologized as she smiled at him. She shook her head, "You found a loophole, Tobias. That's how I'm able to be here." He looked at her confused, not remembering that bit.
"I hadn't had a physical body in years. I was able to rest in the darkness until you gained a conscience and the time I spent in your mind, I was nothing but start dust." He nodded as she whipped the blood off his cheekbone.
"Why didn't you just tell me, Lucine?" His question held more questions. She sighed as she walked over to the porch, admiring the house she had missed. "You made me promise not you. You said you liked the excitement of not knowing." Tobias scoffed at his old self. "It was more terrifying than exciting." He muttered making her laugh as they sat down.

Meloria couldn't sleep. She had left Tobias at the Cullen's house after falling asleep there.
She knew he'd be safe there, so she didn't need to worry.
Sitting outside, admiring the stars, she could feel someone watching her. The tree lining was too dark to tell but there was no denying the feeling.
Leaving the fear and cautiousness behind, she stood up and walked towards the trees. The figure doing the same so they can meet halfway. As they got closer, she couldn't help but feel like it was all a dream.
"Vincent?" She whispered as she sped up her walking.
His smile was evident as they finally stood face to face. "Meloria." He said as she stretched out his hand towards her. She looked between his outstretched hand and his face, not believing he could be right in front of her.
She, hesitantly, placed her hand on his instantly feeling the rigid coldness of his skin. His veins still.
She looked back at his face, her vision how blurred from the tears. "H-How..." Her words couldn't come out as he pulled her into his embrace. He breathed in her scent, missing the floral scents along with her comforting warmth.
"I've missed you so much, my love." He whispered into her ear as they rocked side to side slightly. She sobbed into his shoulder as her hands held his shirt tightly. "This can't be real. You died years ago. I-We watched them put the casket in the dirt." She stammered as she pushed back from his hold.
He was just as handsome as the last time she saw him. He shook his head. "You're right, I did die back then."-"So this is all just a dream?" Her tears started flowing quicker at the thought. he chuckled at her reaction. She was always one to be led by her emotions.
"I can assure you, this isn't a dream." She looked up at him, confused. "Then how are you here if you're dead?" He stepped back from her as he ran a hand through his blonde hair. "What is it?" She asked him, noticing his hesitation. "You remember that night when I went out with some friends?" Meloria nodded, "How could I forget? That was the night you disappeared." he nodded once at her words.
"That night, a woman dragged me into an alleyway on my way home and turned me into this monstrosity." His words were full of venom for the woman who ruined his life. She walked closer to him, placing her hands on his arms. "What are you talking about, Vincent? What are you?" She wanted to be scared but she loved him too much to be.
They stared into each other's eyes for a second, remembering their times together. Wanting to forget all the time they had lost.
Wanting to be a family again.
"It sounds ridiculous but I'm a vampire Mel. That wretched woman turned me into some blood-sucking demon." His face was more sorrowful than it was angry. Meloria shook her head slightly. "That's not possible. Vampires aren't real." Meloria tried arguing but he pulled out the ultimate proof.
He grabbed her hand, placing it over his forever still heart. "My heart hasn't beat in ten years, Mel." He all but whispered. His eyes were no longer the blue shade that she fell in love with. They were completely black.
"Vampires aren't supposed to be real. You're supposed to be dead. As in ten feet under and rotting dead." She said as she started to freak out. She buried her hands in her hair as she tried to process what was happening.
"Would you rather me be rotting in a coffin or here, in front of you?" He said, his emotions getting the better of him. She looked at him, his face saying everything he couldn't. "I love you Vincet. I have wished every night for you to just show up again. I truly couldn't be happier but," She stopped as they held hands. "How are we going to tell Tobias?" She nodded slowly.
He remembered all those times he had watched over them while at they hung out with the Cullens. Tobias already knew about Vampires. Meloria was the last to know.
"I think our son will take the news well. He's always been an open-minded kid." He said, not wanting to out Tobias.
Meloria nodded, wanting to believe her husband's words.
He was so caught up in being able to hold her again, that he didn't notice her very visible eye bags. "Mel, how much have you been sleeping these days?" He asked as he ran his thumb over the purple shades.
She shrugged, "Not much. I've been having trouble sleeping these days." He nodded, grabbing her hand as he pulled her towards the house and up to her bed.
One side was messy from where she slept and the other stayed untouched. "I could never bring myself to sleep on your side." She confessed as they crawled into bed together.
She placed her hand on top of hers as she held it to her heart. She had missed the way his body felt against hers.
"I love Meloria. Always have, always will." He whispered into her ear as her eyes started to droop. She hoped and prayed that this night was a reality.
"I love you too Vincent. Always." She replied with a yawn, making him chuckle.
Soon she was asleep as Vincent took the time to admire the love of his life up close.
Every day of his existence as a vampire he cursed the woman that turned him for ripping him away from the only two people he loved most in this world.
He skimmed his cold finger over the arch of her nose, making her scrunch it up slightly.
He found himself gliding his fingers over her lips, remembering what they tasted like, how soft they were. He wanted to kiss her. Be with her again but she hadn't slept well and he'd hate himself forever if he didn't let her rest.
He brought her hand to his lips, giving them a light kiss wishing he could cry and release all those emotions he had pent up. "I promise to never leave again. I'm here to stay and be a family again. Just you, me, and Tobias." He said as he pulled her closer into his embrace wishing he could sleep yet happy that he doesn't have to worry about it all being a dream.

Hey guys!
Sorry if this chapter feels really sloppy. I've realized that I haven't been writing about Meloria as much and just wanted to write about her and Vincent for once.
I've been having too much fun with Tobias' storyline lol.
Anyways, hope you guys are enjoying 'Paint Stained Tears', and don't hesitate to comment your thoughts and predictions!
