It'd been a few days since Bella showed who she truly was. Edward had kicked her out, which was a shock to everyone.

He was a forever lover boy. But, he had grown out of love with Bella ever since he noticed how much she didn't care for their daughter. Ren was his everything, his joy, and Bella pushed them apart.

Bella always needed to be the center of her husband's attention. Always needed to know she was the first priority. He couldn't live the rest of eternity like this.

"Edward, you can't do this to me!" Bella screamed at her husband as he carried her luggage out to her car. Lucine coming back was the final piece he needed to realize that Bella wasn't someone he could love.

The Bella he fell in love with was nothing but a facade she had created to reel him in.

Bella looked over at their daughter who was protectively tucked up her father's arm. "Renesmee, sweetheart, tell your father that this is insane." She pleaded but Ren just looked away with a pained expression.

Bella was furious. "You insolent child! I carried you for months, almost died and this is how you repay me!?" She screamed, making Ren feel horrible. "Mom-" She started but Edward didn't let her finish. "You have no right to speak to her like this Bella!" Bella scoffed, "She's my daughter Edward. I can speak to her however I want!" But Edward was beyond mad now.

"Get out of here Bella." A voice spoke from behind them. All the Cullen children standing there to support Edward. Rosalie slyly smiled at the sight. She'd wished for so long to get rid of her.

"Alice, I don't need you guys getting involved." He sighed as Ren went to stand in Rosalie's arms, feeling safer than she ever did in the arms of her own mother.

"You still have a weak spot for her, I've seen it so let us help you." She spoke, placing a supporting hand on his shoulder.

"After everything, I've done for you and now you want to get rid of me?" Bella was using any tactic to stay but Alice had seen it all already.

"Don't make this harder than it has to be. I've already seen you leaving and never coming back so, please Bella, stop." Alice spoke softly, looking at a fuming mad Bella. "What about my sister? Are you guys going to kick her out too?" She hoped. She hoped with everything inside her that her sister would receive the same treatment.

"No. Lucine and I are going to get married soon. I hope we won't see you there." Rosalie spoke seriously before going back inside with Ren right behind her. She always saw Rosalie as more of a mother than she ever did Bella.

Bella looked at everyone, angry, before getting into her car and leaving town as fast as possible.

Edward let out a sigh of relief as soon as her car was out of eyesight.

Emmett came up behind him, putting a comforting hand on his shoulder. "You did the right thing." He reassured him, knowing Edward would use just about any excuse to blame himself for how she turned out.

They walked back inside, meeting up with Rosalie and Ren in the living room. Ren had a giant smile on her face as Rosalie chuckled at her reaction.

"What's going on in here?" Edward asked with an oddly tired smile on his face. For some reason, he looked more human to Ren today. She looked up at her father with a smile, "Aunt Rosalie just asked me to be the flower girl at her and Lucine's wedding next week." Edward watched happily as she spoke with Rosalie about wedding plans.

"Alice has most of it planned already but, if your dad would let you, you can come with Lucine and me to pick out our dresses," Rosalie suggested and as soon as those words left her mouth, a certain glint of excitement ignited in Ren's eyes.

The girl turned to face her father with pleading eyes. He hadn't seen her this lively since she was a child. It made him think about how she probably showed this side of her—the real her— to everyone but him. He loved his daughter and it pained him that the woman he loved, who he thought loved him back, would pull him away from her.

He gave her a slight nod, "Of course, just take Tobias with you. I know that boy rarely leaves his house and something tells me he really needs to get out." He mentioned as he side-eyed Alice, remembering a vision she had about the boy his daughter deemed her 'best friend' driving himself insane surrounded by angelic—celestial— paintings.

Ren nodded quickly with a giant smile on her face. "Thanks, dad!" She said, quickly hugging him before running to her room to call the boy.

"Things can only get better from here, Edward," Rosalie spoke as she walked closer to him.

They'd always had a bumpy relationship and being with Bella only made it worse. It pushed them farther apart to the brink of hatred.

Edward ran a hand through his hair before looking up at how he thought of as his sister. "I'm sorry Rosalie. For everything. For how I treated you and Lucine fifteen years ago. I know there's no excuse for it but I hope you can forgive me." He apologized. Rosalie wasn't expecting him to. She was wholeheartedly expecting either of them to ever mention it again.

Water under the bridge.

But, she was grateful.

She smiled, pulling him into a hug. "There's nothing to forgive. People make mistakes and yours just happened to be the shape of a manipulative teenage girl." She said making them both laugh. "But, thank you for apologizing. You've grown as a person and as a father, Edward. I'm proud." She smiled up at him.

"I'm glad you and Lucine have each other. People like you two deserve each other." He told her kindly before they went their ways.

Edward to the room he once shared with his wife and Rosalie to the house that holds her waiting fiancée.
