as the girls managed to climb over the security gate, flynn and julie had cuts all over their hands. lily had to help flynn over the gate, and she managed to get a small cut on her cheek in the process. she decided to ignore it as she stared at the massive house in front of her.

or should she say, mansion.

"okay, trevor/bobby/carrie's dads- i'm sorry, what are we calling him?- anyways, his house is ridiculous!" lily whispered to her friends as she stared at the building in front of her.

"shush. come on." julie said as she peeked round the fence. seeing that the coast was clear, she motioned for her friends to follow her as they made their way to the front door.

ringing the doorbell, julie looked through the window to try and see carrie, but got pulled back by lily.

"you can't just look through people's windows, jules!" lily whisper-shouted to julie, but then turned around wide eyed when carrie opened the front door.

"heyyy." the girls all chorused to carrie.

"what are you three doing here? how did you get over the security gate?" carrie questioned.

"teamwork! do you have a bandaid? the barbed wire is new." julie said, making flynn and lily awkwardly chuckle along with her.

"what do you want?" carrie asked them, putting a hand on her hip as the other one held the door open. although she was tempted to close it in their faces and carry on with her day.

"uh, just thought you should know that julie and lily's band is playing at the dance tonight!" flynn said with false kindness towards the blonde girl.

"now you know!" lily said with a smile on her face.

"you guys are acting weirder than usual." carrie told them.

"probably because we're thirsty." julie said, making lily furrow her eyebrows in confusion. "can we come in for a glass of water?"

carrie scoffed before answering, "fine, if it'll make you leave faster."

as the girls went to walk into the house, carrie stopped them. "don't break anything." she then walked away, knowing that the girls knew where the kitchen was. well, julie and flynn knew.

as they walked into the house, lily gently closed the front door and followed julie and flynn, assuming that they knew how to navigate their way around the house.

"careful." julie said as they crept towards the living room. "where are you?"

"i'm right here."

the girls all jumped in shock at the voice, and turned around to find nick sitting on the couch.

the girls all just chuckled awkwardly. "nick. look guys, it's nick. nickster, nicky-poo, nick-a-licious. make it stop." julie whispered the end of her sentence to her friends.

lily just gently put her hand over julie's mouth to stop her from rambling, laughing when flynn spoke.

"hey! glad you're here nickey-poo. we wanted to tell you that julie and lily's band is performing at the dance."

"oh yeah... no i saw your post." nick said with a smile as he sat up straighter.

lily and the girls nodded their heads at him and all returned the smile, but the smiles dropped when carrie walked into the room, holding a tray with three glasses of water on it.

"these girls bothering you babe?"

"nope. just telling us about the dance tonight." nick said to his girlfriend.
