I've got some shit I need to get off my chest

I've been stuck in my head and I know it's not the best

With all I put out, it's hard to feel blessed

Trying every single day to not smith and wess

They arrived at the house after dinner, because they had been waiting for Noah and his sister on the driveway near his house for almost an hour and a half. The so-called party was actually a small friendly meeting, according to Luke, there will be ten or twelve people, no more. They spent a couple of hours sorting bags, Luke showed the rooms, explained who would sleep where, and gave instructions to everyone who had arrived. Nick was looking at the rooms with unusual interest, barely distracting himself to help the others and not look loitering.

Harvey grabbed Dylan, who had pulled up with the other guys a couple of minutes ago, and took him somewhere in the yard to prepare a barbecue, Moo and Tina were busy preparing a vegetable salad.

"You can do your part, instead of staring around, I instruct you to carve these pumpkins!" Tina said loudly.

Noah was off his cell phone, and Nick was distracted from contemplating the landscape outside the window. He was ashamed to admit that he looked at Luke, who was chopping wood in front of a small patio. Dylan was already setting fire to the charcoal, waving a piece of cardboard in front of the stove.

"Why do they need so much wood?" Nick asked to somehow justify his curiosity.

"There's a fireplace," Noah's sister remarked reproachfully as she walked past Nick and handed him a box of tools. "Luke said you can carve pumpkins? Well, turn these freaks into something interesting!" She pointed to the pumpkins with a nod. "And you, Noah, stop surfing the Internet! We got out into nature, say no to damn gadgets! Let's not let online communication ruin the real thing!"

"Just give you a reason, you'll go on strike everywhere," Harvey laughed, wiping his forehead with the back of his hand.

Nick handed one of the large pumpkins to her older brother, and he chose the smaller one.

He had not done anything like this for a long time, since he was six years old, and after the divorce of his parents there was no need, because the mother, not only could not afford to buy a pumpkin home, but most likely did not want to and, perhaps, did it on purpose, as if in revenge on her own son, who, according to her, was a complete copy of his father...

Soon Luke entered the kitchen. He asked for a glass of water, and the brunette swallowed, lowering his head and trying to calm the frantic pounding of his own heart. Nick did not want to admit what was happening to him and why he felt so strange... Calm?.. Happy?.. And the blond seemed so bright... At that moment, Nick could not find another word.

When Moo wiped the sweat from his forehead, he laughed out loud, then joked with Noah, got a couple of cans of beer from him, and only after that he noticed Nick.

"No fucking way!" he exclaimed, bending over the finished pumpkin. Nick was already working on another, but the surprise of the blue-eyed Nick was pleasantly delighted. "Girls, have you seen this?" Luke continued to examine the cut out part, "Well, you are just a master!!! How did you learn it? My meager abilities were enough for two types: an evil pumpkin and a cheerful pumpkin, I did not dare to expect any more, being afraid to fuck everything up!"

"That's because your hands are out of your ass," Dylan walked into the kitchen. "Oh, here's the beer!"

"Don't start early, asshole!" Tina indignantly slapped the boy on the shoulder with a kitchen towel.
